Nhiều nhà kinh tế đã dự đoán về tháng đầu tiên của ông Trump nhậm chức. Tuy nhiên họ lại dự đoán con số việc làm thấp hơn so với thực tế. Vậy đó có phải là tín hiệu tích cực cho kinh tế Mỹ sau khi Trump nhậm chức?


Trong tháng giêng, có thêm 227,000 việc làm mới ở Mỹ được thêm vào thị trường nhân lực, tức nhiều hơn con số mà các nhà kinh tế dự đoán vào tháng đầu tiên làm việc của TT Donald Trump.

Nhưng dưới bề mặt “sáng láng” này, đã thấy có nhiều dấu hiệu chưa thật sự vững mạnh như tiền lương chưa tăng cao và tỉ lệ thất nghiệp lại tăng một chút và có nhiều báo cáo chỏi nhau về mức thâm thủng ngân sách.

Một dấu hiệu nổi bật khác xuất hiện kể từ khi có cuộc đại khủng hoảng kinh tế-tài chính từ gần 10 năm qua, đó là nhiều đại công ty Hoa Kỳ đã bắt đầu thu nhỏ kích thước và tầm mức hoạt động lại.

Hiện tượng này cho thấy dù có nhiều lãnh đạo các doanh nghiệp lớn của Mỹ vẫn tin tưởng chính phủ Trump là chính phủ ủng hộ việc phát triển doanh nghiệp nhưng đồng thời cũng có không ít người trong số này tỏ ra phân vân lo lắng về các chủ trương trong tương lai của chính phủ.

Giờ đây thì chỉ số S&P 500 trên thị trường Wall Street đại diện cho 500 công ty lớn nhất chỉ chiếm chưa đến 20% tổng số lượng nhân viên của tất cả các công ty Hoa Kỳ và chỉ số lạc quan NFIB cũng gia tăng, cho thấy mức phấn khởi của các công ty nhỏ nhiều hơn các đại công ty.

Một số đại công ty ‘high tech’ cũng ra thông báo chống lại quyết định cấm nhập cư đối với 7 quốc gia Hồi giáo của chính phủ Trump, vì họ cho là nhiều hậu quả tiêu cực sẽ xuất hiện nếu như nhiều di dân có tài không được ra vào Mỹ tự do để đóng góp sức lực.
