Thêm sắc lệnh cấm nhập cư mới từ Tổng thống Trump

Sắc lệnh cấm nhập cư với công dân 7 nước Hồi Giáo của tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump trước đây đang bị các toà án nước này ngăn chặn. Nhưng mới đây vào ngày 6/3, ông Trump đã không "chịu thua" và ký sắc lệnh nhập cư tạm thời mới. Sự việc này chỉ diễn ra gần 1 tháng sau khi sắc lệnh nhập cư đầu tiên của ông bị ngăn chặn.

Sắc lệnh nhập cư mới ngăn chặn người nhập cư từ 6 quốc gia có người Hồi giáo chiếm đa số gồm Iran, Libya, Somali, Syria, Sudan và Yemen được phép vào Mỹ trong vòng 90 ngày.

Sắc lệnh mới, có hiệu lực từ ngày 16/3, không áp đặt những hạn chế nhập cư đối với Iraq - 1 trong 7 quốc gia nằm trong “danh sách đen” cấm nhập cư của sắc lệnh trước đây.

Ngoài ra, công dân Syria cũng không còn bị cấm nhập cư vào Mỹ vĩnh viễn như sắc lệnh đầu tiên.

Công dân 6 nước nêu trên nếu có quy chế định cư lâu dài tại Mỹ (tức là sở hữu Thẻ xanh) không bị ảnh hưởng theo sắc lệnh mới này.

Tổng thống Trump tuyên bố ông ký sắc lệnh nhập cư sửa đổi mới nhằm đảm bảo nước Mỹ và công dân Mỹ được an toàn hơn./.
