Đoạn video quay cảnh bà Pelosi trả lời phóng viên cho thấy "bà đầm thép" của Mỹ khẽ nhếch miệng và uống một ngụm nước nhưng không lộ hàm răng cũng như lời nói không bị gián đoạn. Đại diện của bà Pelosi chưa phản hồi về bình luận của ông Trump.

Bà Pelosi trở thành mục tiêu công kích thường xuyên của ông Trump kể từ khi Hạ viện bắt đầu cuộc điều tra luận tội. Ngược lại, bà Pelosi cũng chụp một bức ảnh mà ông Trump đăng tải lên mạng xã hội Twitter – trong đó bà đang đứng và dường như giảng bài cho tổng thống – rồi đặt nó làm ảnh bìa.
