This is an example of the dangers of high winds. Parts of our district have been seeing up to 40 mph winds today, which contributed to this semi being blown over. This is at U.S. 31 southbound at the exit ramp from U.S. 30 west. Thankfully, no one was injured and the crash has been cleaned up.
When it is windy, we encourage all drivers to be careful around bridges, ramps, open areas and for drivers with high-profile vehicles to be mindful. Stay safe out there!
