Trong 6 tháng qua, Quỹ đầu tư tín thác vàng (SPDR Gold Trust) bán tháo vàng với khối lượng lên tới trên 310 tấn.
Đầu giờ sáng ngày 2-4 giá vàng thế giới dao động quanh mức 1.731 USD/ounce, tăng khoảng 52 USD/ounce so với phiên giảm mạnh ngày 30-3.
Quy đổi theo tỉ giá tại các ngân hàng thương mại, giá vàng thế giới tương đương khoảng 48,3 triệu đồng/lượng.

Giá vàng nhẫn trơn, vàng nữ trang tăng khoảng 50.000 đồng/lượng so với hôm trước, giá mua bán giao dịch phổ biến ở mức 49,95 – 50,25 triệu đồng/lượng, đắt hơn so với giá vàng thế giới khoảng 2 triệu đồng/lượng. Đây được xem là mức chênh lệch khá thấp trong nhiều tuần gần đây.
