Lễ Tạ ơn (tiếng Anh: Thanksgiving) là một ngày lễ hằng năm tại Hoa Kỳ và Canada. Có ư nghĩa lúc đầu là tạ ơn Thiên Chúa đă cho sống no đủ và an lành.
Ngày và nơi diễn ra lễ Tạ ơn đầu tiên là chủ đề của một cuộc tranh căi nhỏ. Mặc dù lễ Tạ ơn sớm nhất đă được kiểm chứng diễn ra vào ngày 8 tháng 9 năm 1565 tại khu vực ngày nay là Saint Augustine, Florida, nhưng "lễ Tạ ơn đầu tiên" theo truyền thống được coi là đă diễn ra tại khu vực thuộc thuộc địa Plymouth vào năm 1621.
Ngày nay, tại Hoa Kỳ, lễ Tạ ơn được tổ chức vào ngày thứ Năm lần thứ tư của tháng 11 v́ thế ngày này có thể không phải là ngày thứ năm cuối cùng của tháng 11 như nhiều người lầm tưởng (thí dụ năm 2012 có đến 5 ngày thứ năm). Tại Canada, nơi có cuộc thu hoạch sớm hơn, ngày lễ này được tổ chức vào ngày thứ Hai lần thứ hai của tháng 10.

Thanksgiving..... is not just a TURKEY Day to me lol! Waking up at 5 this morning, wishing that I could sleep more (impossible) knowing I have to catch a flight to Chicago for tonight's show. Still lingering under the covers I thought about all the wonderful things that are in my life, realizing that I couldn't ask for more. I thank you God for giving me strength to survive hard times and filled my life with warmth and happiness. So much to be thankful for, years after years. This year is no exception. I'm truly thankful for the life that is given to me, along with a great family, the best of friends, a job I love, awesome fans, and a loving husband. Today the USA is celebrating Thanksgiving! on this very important american holiday i would like to take this opportunity to thank my parents and my family for always loving me. Especially my parents are the ones i owe so much because they always supported me in all of my decisions in regards of my profession even though they always knew that a lot of travelling would be involved. Today i have chosen Canada to be my new home simply because my fiancé lives here and the fact that i am gonna be far away from my parents makes them sad but they never complained once!!
I would also like to thank my fiancé's parents and his family for welcoming with so much love.
I would also like to thank YOU not only for your support but also for keeping my mother in your prayers when she wasn't doing too well. Today she is doing so much better and will be able to leave the hospital soon so she can finally go home.
