Nguyen Thi Minh Anh, a 22-year-old online nutrition coach, underwent a remarkable body transformation, achieving a 55-cm waistline and building muscle by adopting a specific eating regimen. Prior to her journey, Anh weighed 46 kg, but her body composition had a high percentage of fat, resulting in sagging skin. The catalyst for her decision to embark on a healthier lifestyle was her experience volunteering with cancer patients, witnessing their challenges in battling terminal health issues.

Anh's journey to fitness involved dividing her daily food intake into more than three meals throughout the day. This strategic approach, combined with a focus on nutrition and muscle-building exercises, contributed to her impressive results. Her transformation not only enhanced her physical appearance but also inspired her to pursue a career as an online nutrition coach, helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. Anh's story emphasizes the transformative power of lifestyle choices and serves as motivation for those seeking positive changes in their own lives.

Nguyen Thi Minh Anh achieved her slim waistline by adopting a simple yet effective strategy: dividing her daily food intake into more than three meals. Each subsequent meal contained a smaller portion of food than the previous one. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, the head of the Gastroenterology Department at National Military Hospital 108, explained that this approach helps control appetite and blood sugar levels, leading to an enhanced metabolism process. Dr. Tuan recommended having five to six small meals throughout the day, with intervals of two to three hours between consecutive meals.

While Anh did not adhere to a specific diet, she focused on consuming healthy and nutritious foods. Her guidelines included maintaining a "calorie deficit," ensuring the body takes in fewer calories than it burns. Anh prioritized raw vegetables, utilized chicken and fish as protein sources instead of beef and pork, and preferred boiling or steaming over frying or using oil in cooking. She limited snack consumption, stayed hydrated with plenty of water, and aimed for a balanced intake of essential nutrients such as protein, healthy fats, carbohydrates, and fiber. These guidelines align with recommendations from healthcare sources, emphasizing overall well-being while managing weight.

Anh has also taken up a habit of exercising for 15 to 20 minutes a day. She usually cycles and does other exercises that help her improve her core strength and abs.

Health executive Tiet Ngoc Linh Chi at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital said cycling helps reduce the risk of cancer while enhancing weight loss, pain relief, and cardiovascular system functions.

Anh ended up building her muscles and lowering her body fat levels after a year of this regimen. Her waist measurement now remains at 55 cm.

"I feel more energetic and active after following this healthy lifestyle," she said.
