Canada holds parade and service in memory of Queen
There was a commemorative service and parade for Queen Elizabeth held in Canada.


Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers on horseback lead the parade in Ottawa, Ontario, followed by members of the Canadian armed forces.

The military parade arrived outside the Christ Church Cathedral where the service was held to honor the queen.

Former prime minister Brian Mulroney delivered a speech in tribute Queen Elizabeth, remembering his time as her Canadian prime minister with fondness.

He said the queen was "extremely intelligent" as well as very witty and kind.




How did Australians mark the Queen's funeral?
300 people gathered at Government House last night to watch Queen Elizabeth's funeral.

Guests were spead out across the residences drawing and dining rooms watching the event on big screens.

Those who atteneded said was it only right to pay tribute to Her Majesty in a residence which the Queen had a personal connection with.

People can still sign the condolence book at Government House up until Thursday.
