Twitter bans President Trump permanently

Twitter has suspended President Donald Trump from its platform, the company said Friday evening.


Twitter Inc. cấm vĩnh viễn tài khoản cá nhân của Tổng thống Donald Trump vì nhiều lần vi phạm quy tắc. Đây hình phạt nặng nhất mà công ty truyền thông xã hội áp dụng.

“Sau khi xem xét chặt chẽ các Tweet gần đây từ tài khoản @RealDonaldTrump và bối cảnh xung quanh chúng - cụ thể là cách [tweets] được đón nhận và diễn dịch trên Twitter và ngoài đời - chúng tôi đã tạm ngưng tài khoản vĩnh viễn do nguy cơ kích động bạo lực lâu dài”, công ty này viết trong một bài đăng trên blog vào thứ Sáu.

Công ty đã công bố lệnh cấm hai ngày sau khi Trump ban đầu bị đình chỉ vào thứ Tư vì đăng một loạt các tweet sai lệch về kết quả bầu cử tổng thống và có vẻ như có ý khích động những kẻ bạo động bạo loạn đã tấn công Điện Capitol Hoa Kỳ.
