Conor McGregor's latest loss has left nothing but questions hanging over the controversial Irishman.

Having burst onto the UFC scene by winning his first seven fights, things haven't been as smooth sailing for him since.

McGregor had fought 14 times in professional MMA before joining the UFC and managed to win an impressive 12 of those, losing the other two.

In 2013 he moved to the UFC and won seven on the bounce. Now, his record in the UFC is 10-4-0.

His first UFC defeat came at the hands of Nate Diaz in 2016, before the Irishman won by majority decision in a rematch later that same year.

These back-to-back defeats against Dustin Poirier, though, mark the first time that he has lost consecutive fights in the UFC, leading to some serious questions about his future in the sport.
