Này, tôi ủng hộ việc có phi công nữ và các đội bay đa dạng….nhưng điều đó KHÔNG BAO GIỜ được là đặc điểm đủ điều kiện ĐẦU TIÊN.

Thế còn việc bạn thuê người có khả năng lái máy bay giỏi nhất thì sao?

Và tôi không quan tâm họ thuộc giới tính hay chủng tộc nào?

Sau những lời cáo buộc trực tuyến rằng có điều gì đó đang bị che đậy, giờ đây lại xuất hiện thông tin rằng Delta đã đề nghị trả cho mỗi hành khách 30.000 đô la để đổi lấy việc miễn trừ trách nhiệm:

Theo tờ The Minnesota Star Tribune, Delta sẽ bồi thường 30.000 đô la cho mỗi hành khách trên chuyến bay gặp nạn ở Toronto, Canada.

Nếu hành khách chấp nhận, công ty sẽ chi trả khoảng 2,3 triệu đô la.

Người phát ngôn Morgan Durrant cho biết số tiền này chỉ đơn giản là một cử chỉ "không ràng buộc và không ảnh hưởng đến quyền lợi".

Tổng giám đốc điều hành của Delta, Ed Bastian cho biết các phi công trên máy bay đều "có kinh nghiệm".

“Có một mức độ an toàn tại Delta. Tất cả các phi công này đều được đào tạo cho những điều kiện này. Đây là những gì chúng tôi đào tạo. Chúng tôi đào tạo liên tục cho điều này.”
