Tình hình Hy Lạp đột ngột trở xấu, Phố Wall trượt mạnh
 

Giới đầu tư một phen choáng váng khi thấy rằng nguy cơ vỡ nợ cấp quốc gia của Hy Lạp vẫn hiện hữu.

Thị trường chứng khoán Mỹ quay đầu giảm điểm mạnh khi tình hình đàm phán giải quyết nợ công Hy Lạp đột ngột trở xấu và quốc gia này có khả năng chưa thể nhận được gói cứu trợ tiếp theo.

Như vậy, nguy cơ vỡ nợ cấp quốc gia của Hy Lạp vẫn hiện hữu và tiếp tục là mối lo lớn đối với các thị trường tài chính toàn cầu.

Tin tức từ châu Âu cho biết, các nhà lãnh đạo lục địa này đã kêu gọi Athens tăng thêm các biện pháp thắt lưng buộc bụng, trong khi một số nhà hoạch định chính sách của Hy Lạp nói rằng họ sẽ không ủng hộ thỏa thuận.

Bộ trưởng Bộ Tài chính Hy Lạp, ông Evangelos Venizelos, cho biết nước này sẽ cần đạt được một quyết định trong vài ngày tới về việc có chấp thuận các điều kiện để nhận được gói tài chính cứu trợ thứ hai hay không.

Những tin tức không lành về tình hình Hy Lạp đã tác động xấu tới tâm lý nhà đầu tư trên thị trường cổ phiếu.

Chỉ số VIX đo lường trạng thái bất ổn của nhà đầu tư trên thị trường chứng khoán Mỹ đêm qua đã bất ngờ tăng vọt tới 11,6%, mức tăng mạnh nhất trong vòng ba tháng vừa qua.

Thị trường cũng chịu áp lực từ số liệu niềm tin tiêu dùng Mỹ. Theo điều tra của Thomson Reuters và trường Đại học Michigan, chỉ số niềm tin tiêu dùng đầu tháng 2 đã giảm xuống mức 72,5 điểm, từ mức 75 điểm trong tháng đầu năm.

Chốt phiên giao dịch 10/2, chỉ số công nghiệp Dow Jones giảm 89,23 điểm, tương ứng 0,69%, xuống 12.801,23 điểm. Chỉ số S&P 500 giảm 9,31 điểm, tương ứng 0,69%, xuống 1.342,64 điểm, Chỉ số Nasdaq Composite hạ 23,35 điểm, tương ứng 0,80%, xuống mức 2.903,88 điểm.

Trong đó, chỉ số S&P 500 có mức giảm theo ngày lớn nhất kể từ đầu năm 2012 tới nay. Tính chung cả tuần qua, chỉ số S&P 500 hạ 0,2%, chỉ số Dow Jones giảm 0,5%, trong khi chỉ số Nasdaq Composite mất chưa tới 0,1%.

Khối lượng giao dịch toàn thị trường thưa thớt, với khoảng 6,67 tỷ cổ phiếu được chuyển nhượng trên cả ba sàn New York, American và Nasdaq, thấp hơn nhiều so với mức trung bình hàng ngày 7,84 tỷ cổ phiếu trong năm 2011 vừa qua.

Cùng chiều với thị trường Mỹ, các sàn châu Âu đỏ rực trong phiên giao dịch cuối tuần 10/2. Chỉ số FTSE 100 của Anh giảm 0,73%, xuống còn 5.852,39 điểm. Chỉ số CAC 40 của Pháp hạ mạnh 1,51%, xuống còn 3.373,14 điểm. Chỉ số DAX của Đức trượt 1,41% xuống còn 6.692,66 điểm.

Tại châu Á - Thái Bình Dương, ngoại trừ thị trường Trung Quốc nhích nhẹ 0,1%, hầu hết các sàn chứng khoán khác trong khu vực đều giảm điểm khá mạnh. Trong đó, dẫn đầu là chỉ số Hang Seng của Hồng Kông hạ 1,08% xuống 20.783,90 điểm, Kospi của Hàn Quốc hạ 1,04% xuống 1.993,71 điểm.
