Những ga tàu điện ngầm ấn tượng nhất thế giới
 

Toledo ở Italy, Westminster ở London (Anh) hay Komsomolskaya ở Moscow (Nga) là 3 trong số những ga tàu điện ngầm đẹp nhất thế giới.

Tàu điện ngầm là hệ thống vận tải trong đô thị, chạy trên đường ray. Thông thường, một phần lớn chiều dài tuyến nằm dưới lòng đất. Rất nhiều thành phố trên thế giới đã xây dựng hệ thống tàu điện ngầm.

Theo Wiki, Anh là nước đầu tiên xây dựng tàu điện ngầm và công trình đầu tiên dài 6 km. Tàu điện ngầm có tốc độ nhanh nhất là ở Mỹ (72km/h), trong khi đó Moscow (Nga) là nơi tàu điện ngầm vận chuyển số lượng hành khách kỷ lục, 2,5 tỷ người/năm. Paris (Pháp) là thành phố có hệ thống tàu điện ngầm tiện lợi nhất.

Việt Nam cũng bắt đầu triển khai xây dựng hệ thống tàu điện ngầm đầu tiên ở nước ta từ hồi cuối tháng 8, tuyến Bến Thành – Suối Tiên (thành phố Hồ Chí Minh). Dự kiến sẽ hoàn thành vào cuối năm 2017 và đưa vào sử dụng đầu năm 2018.
