Có tin nói rằng do ghen tuông với con vợ nên tay này đă nhẩn tâm bắn giết hàng loạt như vậy ở vũ trường tại Monterey Park, cách L.A 12 km, sau đó bị cảnh sát và SWAT bao vây nên đă bắn vào đầu tự sát. (chưa được kiễm chứng đầy đủ).
