TITUSVILLE, Fla. (WESH) - Các quan chức trường học ở Hạt Brevard đang điều tra một video con heo được phát trong một buổi Zoom của trường trung học.
Dave Cavolo, cha của một học sinh, cho biết anh coi đây là một kiểu quậy rối học đường và muốn học khu thay đổi để đảm bảo nó không xảy ra nữa.
Cavolo cho biết con gái của ông đă tham gia một khóa học trực tuyến bắt buộc về sức khỏe tâm thần, sự tập trung của con gái đă không c̣n nữa.
“Nó úp máy tính bảng xuống, nó chỉ nghe bằng tai nghe của ḿnh” Cavolo nói.
Trong suốt khóa học, video con heo phát trên các cửa sổ của cuộc gọi điện video Zoom cho các học sinh đang tham gia xem.
Trong khi một lá thư gửi về nhà cho phụ huynh từ trường nói rằng toàn bộ cuộc học online video đă nhanh chóng bị chấm dứt, Cavolo cho rằng nó đă diễn ra đủ lâu để các học sinh khác có thể quay video về những ǵ đang diễn ra.
Bức thư cho biết nhà trường đang làm việc để t́m ra video đến từ đâu và các biện pháp an toàn bổ sung đă được thêm vào các buổi học của Zoom.
Các nhà điều tra của cảnh sát Titusville cho biết họ cũng đang làm việc để t́m ra ai đă phát sóng video.

TITUSVILLE, Fla. (WESH) — School officials in Brevard County are looking into how a pornographic video played during a high school Zoom session.
Dave Cavolo, the father of a student, says he considers this a type of assault and wants changes from the district to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
“Her appetite’s off, her sleep’s off,” Cavolo said.
Cavolo says his daughter has been learning virtually amid the pandemic but ever since she took part she took part in a required online course on mental health her focus has been off.
“She’s got the tablet face down, she’s just listening on her headphones,” Cavolo said.
During the course, a pornographic video was playing in one of the windows on the Zoom video call, visible to the students who were taking part.
While a letter sent home to parents from the school says the entire call was quickly terminated, Cavolo contends it went on long enough for other students to capture video of their own of what was going on.
The letter says the school is working to figure out where the video came from and adds additional safety measures have been added to Zoom sessions.
Titusville police detectives say they’re also working to figure out who was broadcasting the video.
“Not only does she feel victimized by what she saw and she keeps telling me, ‘I can’t stop reliving this’, I understand that but I wanted her to grab some of her personal power back, so the police officer swore her in and she gave testimony under oath what she witnessed,” Cavolo said.
