Tổng thống Donald Trump tuyên bố gây sốc khi ông muốn được xét xử ở Thượng viện nếu Hạ viện bỏ phiếu luận tội ông.

Trao đổi với Fox & Friends, Tổng thống Trump cho biết ông muốn thấy những người Dân chủ luận tội như Adam Schiff ra làm chứng.

Thực tế, Thượng viện do đảng Cộng ḥa kiểm soát hoàn toàn có thể bác bỏ bất cứ điều khoản luận tội nào do Hạ viện đưa ra. Tuy nhiên, Tổng thống Trump trao đổi qua điện thoại với Fox rằng, ông muốn thấy cuộc điều tra chống lại ḿnh đi tới một phiên xử ở Thượng viện.

"Tôi muốn một phiên xử. Tôi muốn thấy Adam Schiff chứng thực về kẻ tố giác – một kẻ tố giác giả mạo", nhà lănh đạo Mỹ nói – nhắc đến người trong cộng đồng t́nh báo Mỹ đă đâm đơn tố cáo ông về cuộc điện đàm giữa ông và người đồng cấp Ukraina Volodymyr Zelensky mà đă dẫn đến cuộc điều tra luận tội hiện nay.

Gọi Chủ tịch Ủy ban T́nh báo Hạ viện Adam Schiff là "kẻ ngớ ngẩn", ông Trump nhấn mạnh thêm: "Người tôi muốn chứng thực nhất là Schiff Quỷ quyệt… và những ǵ tôi muốn biết nhất là, tại sao ông ta lại bịa ra tuyên bố của tôi".

Ông Trump cũng lên án ông Schiff v́ tổ chức các cuộc điều trần luận tội với các nhân chứng thứ 2 và thứ 3 mà đến nay vẫn chưa cung cấp được bằng chứng cụ thể rằng Tổng thống đă sắp đặt một thỏa thuận "có đi có lại" với ông Zelensky. Phe Dân chủ nói rằng ông Trump đă giữ lại viện trợ quân sự cho Ukraina để thúc ép Kiev mở lại cuộc điều tra tham nhũng nhằm vào gia đ́nh Joe Biden, đối thủ tiềm tàng của ông trong cuộc chạy đua vào Nhà Trắng năm 2020.

Tổng thống Trump cũng nói ông muốn nghe Hunter Biden, con trai của ông Joe Biden, chứng thực trước Thượng viện. Hunter giữ ghế trong Hội đồng của tập đoàn năng lượng Ukraina Burisma từ năm 2015 đến 2019, một vị trí mà ông này được cho là không đủ năng lực để đảm nhận và ông Trump cho rằng, đó là nhờ một thỏa thuận tham nhũng giữa Joe Biden và Kiev.

Tổng thống Mỹ tuyên bố ông c̣n muốn người tố giác ḿnh ra làm chứng, và tuyên bố đă biết danh tính nhân vật này.

Trước đó, hôm 21/11, phát ngôn viên Nhà Trắng Hogan Gidley cũng cho biết Tổng thống Trump muốn phiên ṭa luận tội ông được tiến hành tại Thượng viện Mỹ, "v́ tại đây ông mới có cơ hội duy nhất để giành được sự công bằng và nhận được thủ tục tố tụng theo Hiến pháp"

Thua trận từ 2016 khiến phe DC không ngừng t́m đủ mọi cách nhằm lấy lại thế trận năm 2020, họ sử dụng đủ mọi đ̣n thế kể cả ra đ̣n " dưới lưng quần ". Năm 2016 tui đă bầu cho Hillary sau nghĩ lại thấy tiếc cho lá phiếu của ḿnh (dù tôi sống ở Tiểu bang DC). Năm 2020 tôi dự định sẽ không dụng đến bất cứ anh chị DC nào, dù ở cấp nào dù tôi không phải là kẻ cuồng Trump như nhiều người gán ghép cho những người không đồng ư những việc làm của mấy ông bà DC.
