A Ukrainian airliner that crashed in Iran killing all 176 people on board was accidentally shot down by an anti-aircraft missile, a Pentagon official claims.

Pentagon and US intelligence officials have claimed a Ukrainian Airlines Boeing 737 that crashed in Iran on Wednesday morning killing all 176 aboard was shot down by a surface-to-air missile


The Ukrainian Airlines Boeing 737-800 that crashed in Tehran early Wednesday is believed to have been downed by a Russian made Tor M-1 anti-aircraft missile system, according to spy satellite evidence.

A senior US intelligence official and Iraqi intelligence official made the same claim to Newsweek, with a US official going on to tell ABC News it was ‘highly likely’ the jet was shot down.

The missile system now suspected of downing the plane moments after it took off from Tehran’s Imam Khomeni International Airport is believed to have been activated following last Friday’s assassination of Iran’s top General Qasem Soleimani. Iran forbade American officials from getting involved with the investigation into the crash.

chuyện nầy có ǵ là lạ đâu thấy máy bay chở hành khách trên radar tưởng là máy bay Mỹ đến trả đủa vụ bắn hoả tiển nên uưnh quá bấm nút hoả tiển bắn chứ ǵ.Phen nầy chết chắc.

Ngũ giác đài tuyên bố quá sớm khi chưa có hộp đen. Nghi vấn là máy bay thuộc loại 737 Max vừa cất cánh không lâu và c̣n nằm trong địa phận của Iran. Rơi không cùng thời điểm và vài giờ sau hai cuộc tấn công. Điều kỳ lạ là bắn mấy chục hoả tiển sang Irag mà không trúng ai hết nhưng lại trúng 176 người trên nước Iran ? Chắc phải đợi TT Trump hay Ngũ giác đài trả lời.

Sau khi giết Tướng Iran, th́ Mỹ đă biết sẽ có sự đáp trả không nhỏ từ Iran. Điều khó khăn cho Mỹ là nếu cuộc chiến hai bên lan rộng th́ sẽ kéo thời gian, nhân mạng và kinh tế của cả hai đi vào chỗ bế tắc. Điều này đă làm cho những đời TT Mỹ trước không thể tiến hành. Cuộc chiến Irag dễ dàng hơn nhiều nhưng cũng phải mất nhiều năm mà đến nay vẫn chưa ổn định. Điều hay nhất tạm thời là im lặng và nói Iran bắn trật và Mỹ sẽ tha thứ để hoà đàm !! C̣n các quốc gia khác như Trung cộng, Nga hay Âu châu th́ không dại ǵ xía vào ngay thời điểm này mà nên đợi t́nh h́nh cái nào có lợi sẽ lên tiếng

Thật ra là có lẽ Iran đă bắt tay với Mỹ để giết Soleimani, rồi diễn kịch cho thế giới xem đầu năm!

Cũng nên biết là Soleimani từng là thủ lănh của dân Kurds và sát cánh với Mỹ chống IS 2014 để mưu cầu lợi thế cho chính phủ Iraq theo hệ phái Shia (như Iran). Tôi nghĩ là Soleimani bị hất cẳng v́ Iran muốn có thỏa thuận ǵ đó với Mỹ/Trump, mà Soleimani là từ trước đến giờ đến đều cực lực chống Mỹ, THE REAL HARDLINER ! Nên biết là những đảng của người Kurds như Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI), Komalah, Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) và Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK) là những đảng có tầm ảnh hưởng rất lớn ở Iran, nhưng PAK lại bị Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) , tạm dịch là Vệ Binh Cánh Mạng Hồi Giáo trù dập và tiêu diệt âm thầm…Chỉ có lư do này mới biện minh cho việc Iran pháo kích mà c̣n báo trước, y như Trump bắn 59 Tomahawk vậy thôi, sợ mất mặt bầu cua…Chamenei coi vậy chứ 0 vừa đâu...ném đá giấu tay v́ ảnh hưởng của Soleimani đă quá lớn (ông này từng muốn tranh cử TT Iran)...chờ xem , nhưng tui nghĩ là chẳng bao giờ có chiến tranh , v́ chả có ai thắng hết...

This is my 2 cents. We all know that Iran shot missiles at a US airbase on the night this happened. I believe that Iran though that we would immediately respond by shooting missiles back at them and into their city hitting targets . I believe that Iran purposely shot down the civilian aircraft and they were going to blame the US for it .....however their plan backfired .
