Ivanka Trump, cố vấn cao cấp Bạch Ốc cùng với chồng là Jared Kushner, cơ nguy ở tù vì tội tham nhũng, nếu Trump thất cử.


Bản tin trên báo The Daily Beast ghi rằng tổ chức quan sát phi đảng phái Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW) đã ghi nhận các hành vi nghi là tham nhũng của Ivanka Trump từ đầu năm 2017, và đã nộp đơn đòi điều tra các thương vụ của cô với chính phủ Trung Quốc, cũng như đòi điều tra các thương vụ địa ốc của cô và Kushner.

Bản tin nói vào tháng 4/2017, cùng ngày Trump ăn tiệc với Tập Cận Bình, chính phủ TQ cấp sơ khởi chấp thuận thương hiệu mà Ivanka xin từ lâu cho nhãn hiệu thời trang cô kinh doanh ở TQ.

Tương tự, ngày 7/8/2018, chính phủ TQ cấp thêm một số bản quyền thương hiệu cho cô Ivanka, trùng vào ngày TT Trump gỡ bỏ lệnh cấm vận đối với công ty viễn thông ZTE của TQ. Hai cha con Trump kinh doanh không giấu giếm gì. CREW ghi trong đơn khiếu kiện rằng Ivanka đã vi phạm Luật Hatch Act tới 8 lần trong vòng 48 giờ quanh sự kiện đó.
