WASHINGTON (Reuters) — Giữa lúc các viên chức y tế khuyến cáo người Mỹ nên chuẩn bị tinh thần đối phó với bùng phát dịch viêm phổi corona, Tổng thống Donald Trump cáo buộc hai hăng hàng truyền h́nh cáp đă đưa tin về mối nguy hiểm của covid 19 theo kiểu càng tệ càng tốt, làm đảo lộn thị trường chứng khoán.


Trump vào thứ Tư lên Twitter cho rằng CNN và MSNBC – hai kênh truyền h́nh vẫn thường xuyên chỉ trích Tổng thống – đang làm mọi thứ để t́nh h́nh virus corona trông càng tệ càng tốt, kể cả làm cho thị trường chứng khoán hoảng loạn. “Mỹ đang trong t́nh trạng tuyệt vời,” Trump tuyên bố.

Đang đẩy mạnh chiến dịch tái tranh cử trước kỳ tổng tuyển cử vào tháng 11, Trump không nói rơ ḿnh không thích ǵ trong những bản tin về virus corona. Tổng thống sẽ tổ chức họp báo về vấn đề dịch bệnh vào 6h chiều (giờ miền Đông) thứ Tư.

Các viên chức tại Trung tâm Ngăn ngừa và Kiểm soát Dịch bệnh (CDC) vào hôm thứ Ba cho hay, cuộc hành quân của virus trên toàn cầu đặt ra mối quan ngại về nguy cơ lây lan ở Mỹ. “Câu hỏi không phải là có xảy ra hay không, mà khi nào xảy ra, và bao nhiêu người ở đất nước này sẽ bị bệnh nghiêm trọng,” Giám đốc Trung tâm Quốc gia Miễn dịch và Bệnh đường Hô hấp của CDC, bà Nancy Messonnier cho truyền thông hay.

Thị trường chứng khoán toàn cầu bị tụt dốc trong những ngày gần đây trước quan ngại dịch bệnh gây ra sự gián đoạn lâu dài đối với các chuỗi cung ứng, và các nền kinh tế trên thế giới. Cho đến nay đă có hơn 80.000 người bị nhiễm bệnh, với gần 3000 ca tử vong, chủ yếu ở Trung Quốc đại lục.

Chỉ số thị trường chứng khoán Mỹ tăng khoảng 1% vào sáng thứ Tư nhưng sau đó tiếp tục giảm bốn ngày tồi tệ nhất trong hơn một năm.

Trump gia tăng báo động trước t́nh trạng trượt dốc của thị trường chứng khoán, nơi được ông xem là phong vũ biểu của sức khoẻ nền kinh tế, và đây chính là ch́a khoá cho tái tranh cử.

Trong chuyến công du đến Ấn Độ, Trump ca ngợi các viên chức y tế Mỹ trong khi làm giảm nhẹ tác động của virus ở Mỹ.

Bộ trưởng Y tế và Nhân sinh Alex Azar vào hôm thứ Tư cho hay, Mỹ có 59 ca dương tính với virus corona, gồm 42 du khách Mỹ từ tàu du lịch Diamond Princess neo đậu ở Nhật. Chỉ có 2 ca lây từ người sang người ở Mỹ, cả hai bị lây nhiễm từ những người trở về từ Trung Quốc.

Tiến sĩ Anthony Fauci – Giám đốc Viện Truyền nhiễm và Dị ứng Quốc gia – cho hay, trong khi virus bị kiểm soát ở Mỹ, nhưng người Mỹ phải sẵn sàng đối phó với bùng phát khi virus lây lan từ người sang người ở bên ngoài Trung Quốc đại lục. “Nếu có một đại dịch th́ hầu như chắc chắn chúng ta sẽ bị ảnh hưởng,” Fauci cho CNN hay. Ông sẽ là người báo cáo t́nh h́nh cho Tổng thống.

CDC khuyến cáo nhân dân Mỹ không du lịch sang Trung Quốc và Nam Hàn. Vào thứ Tư, danh sách hạn chế du lịch mở rộng sang Iran, Italy và Mongolia trước nguy cơ nhiễm bệnh.

Nhà chức trách cũng đang cân nhắc mở rộng kiểm dịch hành khách từ Italy và Nam Hàn, hai quốc gia đang có các trường hợp nhiễm virus gia tăng chóng mặt.

Trump đang yêu cầu Quốc hội cấp $2,5 tỉ Mỹ kim để dùng đối phó với dịch bệnh, Dân chủ khuyến cáo con số này quá thấp so với những ǵ cần thiết. Lănh tụ Thiểu số Thượng viện Chuck Schumer vào hôm thứ Tư kêu gọi $8,5 tỉ Mỹ kim dành cho covid 19. Dân chủ cũng thúc đẩy Toà Bạch Ốc bổ nhiệm lănh đạo để phối hợp phản ứng quốc gia.

Phát ngôn nhân Toà Bạch Ốc Judd Deere bác bỏ tường tŕnh rằng họ đang xem xét bổ nhiệm lănh đạo đối phó với virus corona. Deere cho hay, Trump hài ḷng với sự lănh đạo của Azar.

Cái thằng luôn kiếm chuyện này chuyện nọ để đổ thừa cho thất bại là thằng Bất Tài. Không những đổ thừa truyền thông, mà c̣n đổ thừa v́ debate của DC là nguyên nhân chính làm stocks rớt nữa. Ngày nào cũng nghe thấy chuyện tào lao của cha nội nầy...vậy mà cũng có khối người khôn liền tin mới hay chứ..nghe hoài nghe đi nghe lại cũng thành NGU luôn.

Vừa nhắc tới con Virusngu-16 là có thằng bệnh nhân số 0 @kietkml xuất hiện để điểm danh liền. Nhưng thấy nó toàn là tru tréo chuyện 0 đầu 0 đuôi. Chắc bệnh t́nh đă tới giai đoạn cuối. Dù mày sẽ sớm ra đi, nhưng trong đây sẽ có vài thằng Bợ tưởng nhớ mày đó. RIP @kietkml. LOL
