ENGLISH:
April 19, 2021
I am a nail technician, have a store and have been practicing for more than 13 years, since setting foot in Germany. On the first day of school, holding the pliers, the pen was awkward and strange. A long time ago, the job was absorbed in me like choosing myself. The pretty hands, sparkling, colorful legs, the guests are satisfied when they leave, is my happiness every day. Nail career gives my family and many people here a good life.

However, in early 2020, the Covid-19 epidemic suddenly overflowed, silently destroying the achievements that nail technicians have built for many years.
Our work is in direct contact with guests so it is extremely dangerous. The working air is stressful and claustrophobic as if it carries germs. Who among customers has been infected? Can not know! Guests are still subjective, without masks, waving their hands to see Covid-19 as a joke, a fantasy, just like seasonal flu. I fear when I see my homeland drastically preventing epidemics, but here it is indigent and despised. Lockdown once started, life turned upside down completely.

In May 2020, the store reopened with strict epidemic prevention regulations in place. We went to work but were very confused, and the feeling of life and death kept fragile day by day. We cannot unilaterally close the door, have no other way, to accept reality and find a way to adapt. Never before has the client's hands been so thoroughly disinfected. Communicate with each other through masks, through eyes, through screens, and gloves, very cautiously.

Work is sluggish because I do not dare to ask questions. Even a cough or a strong breath is afraid of getting infected. Feeling itchy throat, chest tightness, also worry about getting sick. At times, when I think about myself, or my family, friends, I get badly badly, I quietly die in loneliness in the country, and shed tears.

Every day, the number of visitors keeps decreasing significantly. Covid-19 has caused Germans to tighten their spending. Normally, the summer is very crowded, but now less. In the street, many stores have had to close because they cannot survive. We dare not think of nail care time too. Just remind each other, eat well, live healthy, find ways to cope with epidemics. Looking at the anti-epidemic mirror like fighting against the enemy from home country but couldn't help but be proud and emotional.

We still encourage each other
In the fall of 2020, the epidemic broke out again violently. The German economy officially slumped miserably, when it had to close its doors and burden too great a supportive burden. In March 2021, the government decided to relax to save the economy. Nail profession, due to good implementation of epidemic prevention measures, low infection rate, should be allowed to reopen.

Tragically, after a four-month long shutdown, the Germans forgot their need for a manicure. Our worries gradually exist. The shop is empty, never seen. No visitors, regular customers quit playing because of running out of money, afraid of spreading disease ...

The owner and the mechanic took turns resting, waiting for each phone call to make sparse appointments. Many stores coal, one day there is not a customer. Difficulties piled up with difficulties, the pressure on shop owners to pay for everything, had to close the shop. Nail profession is stable, suddenly laborious, miserable because of the pandemic.

In a crisis, we still encourage each other, complicated translation, long arduous. Unable to be afraid to watch Covid-19, quietly destroying all its achievements, we must save ourselves.

Every day we are allowed to open the door, we will stick around, to reduce part of the burden on Germany and to rebuild our guests.

Try your best to overcome the pandemic
In my free time at the shop, I still nurture my passion. Take the trouble to go to Youtube to learn more new models, work on hand, put ads on the Facebook page of the store regularly. Hope to attract customers' attention.

My friend in Köln takes care of guests by keeping all the phone numbers they used to write in the declaration. Accept this time, give each guest € 5 on a message. With the thought of taking money for profit, avoiding subsidies from the government, it is also very difficult.

Mrs. L., a good nail technician in Frankfurt shared: "Before, on average, every day I worked nearly a dozen clients and now I am very absent, one day I have not had my turn, I have to pay for the train by myself. not impatient, complaining, because I know that is the general situation. near and far. Like that, I keep safe for myself but still have work to live.

The Covid-19 epidemic has brought human suffering, took many people's lives, pushed many professions to the brink of bankruptcy, including nail profession.
Faced with so many difficulties and anxiety to keep yourself and your family from being infected when the epidemic increases, when there is not enough vaccine available. But the biggest challenge is still getting something to live for if you stop working. Perhaps watching the results of many years of building, suddenly dissolving into smoke.
We understand this very well, so we are determined to cope with difficulties. Both fight against epidemics and cultivate passion, find ways to keep a career, and fight with the government.

In this way, we hope for a future, when the Covid-19 epidemic is "wiped out", the German nail salon hobby will not be eroded. And nail salon Viet, still a reliable place for them to look.
