Hãy nghe Thống đốc tiểu bang Maryland trình bày về việc vì sao Vệ Binh Quốc Gia đã trễ nãi trong việc điều binh về Thủ Đô để cứu ứng Quốc Hội tối ngày 6 tháng 11.


"Chúng tôi được liên tục cho biết ... Tướng (Timothy Gowen) liên tục được cho biết từ Lực lượng Vệ Binh Quốc Gia ở cấp quốc gia, rằng chúng tôi chưa được cho phép.

Lúc đó, tôi đang nói chuyện trên điện thoại với lãnh tụ Hoyer (Lãnh tụ khối đa số ở Hạ Viện - Stent Hoyer), khẩn cầu tôi điều động quân. Tôi không nhận ra số điện thoại là của ai trong danh bạ ... Nhưng tôi vẫn trả lời .. và .. "Larry Hogan đây!" "Đây là Bộ trưởng Lục Quân, (Ryan) McCarthy. Thống đốc, ông có thể (đưa quân) tới càng sớm càng tốt hay không?" ... và tôi thì "Vâng. Chúng tôi đợi nãy giờ. Chúng tôi sẵn sàng". .... Tôi không thể nói cho quý vị rõ được chuyện gì đang diễn ra ở đầu bên kia về các tiến trình của việc ra quyết định .. đã có nhiều đồn đoán từ truyền thông về chuyện này nhưng tôi thì không rõ về những chuyện xảy ra bên trong Tòa Bạch Ốc hay bên trong Ngũ Giác Đài ..."

* Tóm gọn nội dung.

- Larry Hogan nhận được yêu cầu của lãnh tụ khối đa số Hạ Viện và lãnh tụ khối thiểu số Thượng Viện, gọi điện thoại cầu cứu ngay tại Quốc Hội. Nhưng cấp chỉ huy của lực lượng Vệ Binh Quốc Gia từ thượng tầng không cho phép điều binh.

Ghi chú: Nếu sự việc xảy ra trong địa phận của tiểu bang Maryland thì Larry Hogan có toàn quyền điều binh. Nhưng Thủ Đô Washington thuộc quận Columbia, vốn không thuộc quyền hành pháp của Larry Hogan.

- 90 phút đồng hồ trôi qua thì đích thân Bộ trưởng Lục Quân lại dùng số điện thoại cá nhân để gọi cho Hogan mà không thông qua đường dây chính thức, để yêu cầu Hogan điều quân đến cứu nguy cho Quốc Hội.

Larry Hogan cũng nhấn mạnh đến "tiến trình ra quyết định từ Tòa Bạch Ốc hoặc Ngũ Giác Đài". Điều này giúp khẳng định nguồn thông tin rằng Phó Tổng thống Mike Pence đã sử dụng các kênh liên lạc khác để đưa quân đến - thay vì lệnh điều quân phải đến từ Tòa Bạch Ốc hoặc Ngũ Giác Đài như thường lệ.

Tôi xem videos của cả nhóm Trump quan sát tình hình ở Capitol tưởng xong rồi cả đám hí hửng , có đứa nhảy múa ăn mừng ...ai dè...
