Những người ủng hộ Trump thường chia sẻ nhiều tin tức giả trên phương tiện truyền thông xă hội hơn bất kỳ nhóm chính trị nào khác, theo một nghiên cứu mới từ Đại học Oxford.

Các nhà nghiên cứu đă nghiên cứu hơn 13.000 người dùng Twitter và 47.000 trang Facebook dẫn đến Tổng thống Donald Trump, State of the Union Address đă t́m cách xác định người dùng phương tiện truyền thông xă hội nào lan truyền những tin tức rác rưởi nhất.

Họ phát hiện ra rằng những người ủng hộ Trump trên Twitter đă chia sẻ nhiều tin tức không đáng tin cậy hơn tất cả các nhóm khác cộng lại. Trên Facebook, những người bảo thủ cực đoan chia sẻ nhiều tin tức rác rưởi hơn tất cả các đối tượng khác.

Theo định nghĩa của các nhà nghiên cứu này th́ „junk news“ là thông tin gây hiểu lầm, lừa đảo hoặc lệch lạc sự thật, dữ kiện về chính trị, kinh tế và văn hóa. Nhóm nghiên cứu gồm 12 người đă khảo cứu, xem xét nhiều trang khác nhau, kể cả Breitbart News và Infowars."

Sau đó, các nhà nghiên cứu đă ghi lại hoạt động của 13.477 người dùng Twitter và 47.719 trang Facebook công khai trong ba tháng để xem người dùng nào chia sẻ nhiều bài viết nhất từ các trang này.

Người dùng sau đó được nhóm thành các loại dựa trên ư thức hệ của họ. Ví dụ, người dùng Twitter đă được nhóm thành các danh mục như hỗ trợ của ủng hộ Trump, như Đảng Dân chủ, Hồi giáo, Âm mưu, hay thuyết âm mưu.
Các nhà nghiên cứu phát hiện ra rằng 96% những người trong nhóm ủng hộ Trump đă chia sẻ tin tức rác trên Twitter. Nhóm này cũng chia sẻ nhiều tin tức rác hơn bất kỳ nhóm nào khác cộng lại.

Trump supporters share more fake news on social media than any other political group, according to a new study from Oxford University.

Researchers studied more than 13,000 Twitter users and 47,000 Facebook pages in the days leading up to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address to determine which social media users spread the most “junk” news.

They discovered that Trump supporters on Twitter shared more unreliable news than all other groups combined. On Facebook, extreme conservatives share more junk news than all other audiences put together.

The researchers defined “junk news” as “misleading, deceptive or incorrect information purporting to be real news about politics, economics or culture”. A team of 12 researchers coded news stories to determine which sites were likely to broadcast this kind of news. The final list included sites like Breitbart News and InfoWars.

Đó là bằng chứng để cho mầy thấy rằng có kẻ nói năng bề ngoài ngọt ngào, nhưng trong ḷng cũng là bọn gian xảo không ra ǵ.
C̣n so với kiến thức, nói chuyện với những lời lẻ hôi thúi của mày, tôi đây chẳng cần so sánh.
Hăy nh́n lại cách nói chuyện của ḿnh đi. Tôi không cần tranh luận nữa đâu.
