(Washington Examiner) – Tổng thống Donald Trump tỏ dấu hiệu sẽ ngăn chặn cựu cố vấn an ninh quốc gia John Bolton ra khai trong phiên xét xử luận tội của Thượng viện có thể sẽ bắt đầu vào tuần sau.

“Tôi nghĩ buộc phải vậy thôi, v́ lợi ích của Toà Bạch Ốc,” Trump trả lời khi nhận được câu hỏi có dùng đặc quyền hành pháp hay không, trong cuộc phỏng vấn với Laura Ingraham của Fox News

Hồi đầu tuần tuyên bố sẽ tư vấn với các luật sư về vấn đề đặc quyền hành pháp, Trump bây giờ cho hay, cá nhân ông không có vấn đề ǵ với việc Bolton ra khai, nhưng phải xem xét đến tiền lệ đặt ra đối với đặc quyền tổng thống, và một tổng tư lệnh sẽ có thể chia sẻ bao nhiêu với các cố vấn. “Anh không thể ở trong Toà Bạch Ốc, làm tổng thống, tương lai, tôi đang nói về tương lai, bất cứ tổng thống nào, và có cố vấn an ninh, bất cứ người nào liên quan đến an ninh, và pháp lư, và những người khác,” Trump nói.

71 tuổi, Bolton vào hôm thứ Hai gởi ra thông báo cho biết sẵn sàng ra khai, nhưng chỉ khi có trát đ̣i từ Thượng viện do Cộng hoà kiểm soát, đánh dấu sự thay đổi kể từ khi từ chối ra khai trước các nhà điều tra luận tội của Hạ viện với lư do chỉ thị từ Toà Bạch Ốc.

Có tranh luận về việc liệu Bolton có đưa ra những thông tin gây tổn hại cho Trump hay không, và Tổng thống có thể sử dụng đặc quyền hành pháp để ngăn chặn cựu cố vấn an ninh quốc gia ra khai hay không.

Chủ tịch Hạ viện Nancy Pelosi (Dân chủ – California) vào hôm thứ Sáu thông báo đang chuẩn bị gởi hai điều khoản luận tội lạm quyền và cản trở Quốc hội sang cho Thượng viện vào tuần sau. Cho đến nay, Lănh tụ Đa số Thượng viện Mitch McConnell từ chối phê chuẩn danh sách nhân chứng theo yêu cầu của Dân chủ, và ông ta đă có đủ 51 phiếu Cộng hoà để thông qua quy tắc hoăn cân nhắc nhân chứng cho đến giữa phiên xét xử.

Thượng nghị sĩ Cộng hoà trung dung Susan Collins cho Washington Examiner hay, bà đang làm việc với “một số đồng nghiệp Cộng hoà,” cũng như các vị lănh đạo Đảng “để đạt được thoả thuận” cho phép gọi nhân chứng ra khai trong phiên xét xử.

Ông Trump cho rằng, Pelosi “quá vô lư” khi giữ lại các điều khoản luận tội nhiều tuần qua với nỗ lực gây áp lực buộc McConnell đồng ư danh sách nhân chứng. “Bà ta đáng lẽ gởi chúng đi từ lâu rồi. Việc này chỉ làm giảm giá trị của thủ tục … Nancy Pelosi sẽ xuống cấp là Chủ tịch Hạ viện kém thành công nhất trong lịch sử quốc gia chúng ta. Bà ta không làm ǵ cả,” Trump nói.

Mầy nói không sai. Nhưng sao lúc Hạ Viện đảng DC làm th́ chủ Trump của mầy và đám bợ bây chửi rủa um sùm vậy? Lúc mà mầy chửi họ ... th́ mầy là chó xà ǵ?

Cái you nói là dùng lời của Trump (hàng chữ đỏ) chửi đảng DC để "chọt" lại hắn.

Nhưng thằng @kietkml nó hơi chậm và lại đụng tới chủ nó nên nó mới giận tím người như vậy thôi.

Trong này có nhiều bạn bè cứ rỉ rả rằng Trum không có tội. Trum không làm điều ǵ sai.

Ấy thế không biết tại sao Trum phải dùng đặc quyền hành pháp, không cho Bolton ra khai luận tội?

Tôi không hiểu chổ này à!
