(Media) – Tổng thống Donald Trump vào tối thứ Tư lên Twitter “phản pháo” lại lănh đạo Dân chủ, những người bỏ cuộc họp giữa chừng v́ Tổng thống “bị kích động, mất kiềm chế.”

Chuck Schumer
Chủ tịch Hạ viện Nancy Pelosi, Lănh tụ Đa số Hạ viện Steny Hoyer, và Lănh tụ Thiểu số Thượng viện Chuck Schumer cho truyền thông hay, ông Trump lên cơn xúc phạm, gọi Pelosi là “chính trị gia hạng ba,” và có cộng sản trong hàng ngũ ISIS.

Tổng thống lên Twitter đăng h́nh, nhạo báng cả ba. Đầu tiên là h́nh 3 lănh đạo Dân chủ trông rất nghiêm trọng, kèm ḍng chữ, “Quư vị nghĩ họ thích tôi à?” Tấm h́nh thứ hai chụp toàn bộ cuộc họp, với bà Pelosi đang đứng chỉ tay nói. Trump chú thích: “Sự mất kiềm chế loạn trí của Pelosi căng thẳng.” C̣n h́nh thứ ba chụp ba chiếc ghế trống sau khi lănh đạo Dân chủ bỏ đi, Trump ghi: “Dân chủ không làm ǵ cả, Pelosi và Schumer bỏ khỏi pḥng họp.”

Toà Bạch Ốc vào hôm thứ Tư mời lănh đạo Quốc hội và các uỷ viên lưỡng đảng sang bàn về quyết định rút quân Mỹ khỏi khu vực Đông Bắc Syria của ông Trump. Việc rút quân đă dọn đường cho Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ tấn công lực lượng người Kurd – đồng minh chống ISIS của Mỹ. Trước khi cuộc họp diễn ra, Hạ viện đă thông qua nghị quyết lên án quyết định của Tổng thống với số phiếu 354-60. Theo lănh đạo Dân chủ, kết quả bỏ phiếu khiến ông Trump lên cơn giận dữ.

“Tôi nghĩ cuộc bỏ phiếu, quy mô với hơn 2-1 các nhà lập pháp Cộng hoà bỏ phiếu phản đối hành động của Tổng thống chắc chắn đă làm tổng thống bực bội. V́ nó mà ông ta bị chấn động. Đó là lư do tại sao chúng tôi không thể tiếp tục cuộc họp v́ ông ta không thể đối diện với thực tế về vấn đề này,” Pelosi nói khi bà và các nhà lập pháp Dân chủ rời Toà Bạch Ốc. “Những ǵ chúng tôi chứng kiến là tổng thống mất kiểm soát. Thật đáng buồn!” Chủ tịch Hạ viện nói thêm.

Lănh tụ Thiểu số Thượng viện Chuck Schumer cho hay, ông Trump “xúc phạm” bà Pelosi. “Bà ấy rất b́nh tĩnh, nhưng ông ta gọi bà là chính trị gia hạng ba. Ông ta bảo, có những người cộng sản liên quan, và quư vị có thể thích điều này. Ư tôi là, đây không phải đối thoại, mà là công kích, phê phán, phê phán bẩn thỉu,” ông Schumer nói.
