Old  Default Người Việt ở Pháp thông tin về dịch bệnh covid-19

France is entering the early spring days, with beautiful sunshine, clear sky, flowers and flowers covering the pathway as inviting, full of charm. However, once again, the French were subject to quarantine!
This is the third time the continent has implemented a national social isolation. Since Easter on the first weekend of April, the French have officially entered a new war against Covid-19: Schools closed, children learning online, adults working remotely, all activities. Non-essential business activities will also be discontinued until further notice.

The quarantine order is applied at the same time as curfew, whereby anyone cannot go out after 19 o'clock without proving their legitimate purpose.

Virus variations raging
The French government has reason to do this, because the number of recovery beds has reached maximum capacity, and the number of new infections is still around 40,000 to 50,000 per day. Despite their efforts to contain the virus, variants of the virus from the UK, South Africa, Brazil ... seem to prevail, forcing the authorities to resort to drastic measures. Struggling against Covid-19, the mentality was significantly more stable than in the early days. Society entered the new quarantine phase more calmly, there is no panic status of these days last year.

Now, face masks and hand sanitizers fill the shelves of drugstores and supermarkets. People are no longer rushing to buy food reserves, leading to "out of stock" like last time.

All people over the age of 75 are vaccinated, causing a significant reduction in the number of deaths in this group. The older people where I live are much more confident after being vaccinated. Younger people, in their mid-50s, are also optimistic when the government announced the availability of their vaccine in mid-May.

France is entering the first days of spring, beautiful sunshine, clear sky, flowers and grass covering the path as inviting, full of charm. Fortunately, learning from the first quarantine when many people suffered from psychological syndrome because all day around the house, the French government this time has given people a space "easier to breathe", You are free to travel within a 10 km radius of your home without making a declaration.

At the same time, President Emmanuel Macron in his televised speech called for increased stretching, wearing a mask, and washing hands regularly to protect himself and those around him.

No more panicking
With the inherent liberal character and "fair" knowledge of Covid-19 accumulated over the past year, the French people do not seem to accept the exchange of their spiritual life for absolute safety of their health. strong. Going down the street and wearing a mask is the way most people choose. Small (under 6 people) low-cost picnics (under 6 people) on the banks of the lake, on the sunny grass, partly help them forget their sickness phobia, and the economic concerns that exist in every family. In the old age, the constant closings of restaurants make them lose a hobby, a culture of "going to the restaurant" that is ingrained in the daily life. My uncle and his wife, both over 80 years old, on Easter last weekend, gave themselves the little joy of ordering food at a neighborhood restaurant to enjoy a little "restaurant service".

This year, flowers are no longer considered an unnecessary commodity as the blockade last year. The only flower shop where I live remains open. The shop owner expressed her satisfaction clearly: "Fortunately, we are still open, and sales have not decreased", she smiled contentedly. Who says flowers are not essential to life, especially when it brings joy amid the instabilities of life! The danger of Covid-19 is still there. But people still have to live, not only physically but mentally. When the elderly are equipped with the weapon of a vaccine to neutralize their illness, the young have a reason to lessen their fear.

Recently, I spoke on the phone with a friend who hasn't seen for a long time, even that your whole family has Covid-19 but is now cured. No panic, no pride, the fight against this global disease for you is an inevitable thing when living in the most crowded city in France.

Calmly overcome - perhaps it is your weapon as well as that of the French people in general that the virus cannot beat.
