Chỉ tính trong ṿng 1 năm trở lại đây cuộc gặp cấp cao của 2 nước Vn và Mỹ đă có tới 3 lần chính thức gặp mặt. Đây thực sưj là 1 điềm báo tốt cho quan hệ của 2 nước trong bối cảnh toàn cầu hóa. Chắc chắn với lần gặp thứ 3 này có thể nói sớm rằng quan hệ giữa VN và Mỹ đang dần trở thành mối quan hệ như anh em 1 nhà. Theo Tiến sĩ Amy Searingt, năm ngoái, cựu Tổng thống Barack Obama đă thăm Việt Nam và giờ đây ông Donald Trump có chuyến thăm Việt Nam từ rất sớm trong nhiệm kỳ tổng thống, cũng như việc ông đón tiếp Thủ tướng Chính phủ Nguyễn Xuân Phúc tại Nhà Trắng hồi tháng 5 vừa qua, tất cả cho thấy Việt Nam đang trở thành đối tác ngày càng quan trọng của Mỹ.Từ ngày 11-12/11, Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump sẽ thăm cấp nhà nước tới Việt Nam sau khi tham dự Diễn đàn Hợp tác kinh tế châu Á-Thái B́nh Dương (APEC) tại Đà Nẵng.
Trao đổi với phóng viên TTXVN tại Washington trước thềm chuyến thăm, các học giả hàng đầu của Trung tâm Nghiên cứu Chiến lược và Quốc tế (CSIS) nhận định Việt Nam đang trở thành đối tác ngày càng quan trọng của Mỹ.
Tiến sĩ Amy Searight, Giám đốc Chương tŕnh Đông Nam Á của CSIS, cho rằng việc Tổng thống Donald Trump chọn Việt Nam là quốc gia Đông Nam Á đầu tiên tới thăm là một dấu hiệu rất tích cực.
Lư do chính của chuyến thăm là Việt Nam đăng cai tổ chức APEC, nhưng việc lănh đạo hai nước có cuộc gặp song phương trong khuôn khổ chuyến thăm cấp nhà nước là một dấu hiệu rất tích cực.
Theo Tiến sĩ Amy Searingt, năm ngoái, cựu Tổng thống Barack Obama đă thăm Việt Nam và giờ đây ông Donald Trump có chuyến thăm Việt Nam từ rất sớm trong nhiệm kỳ tổng thống, cũng như việc ông đón tiếp Thủ tướng Chính phủ Nguyễn Xuân Phúc tại Nhà Trắng hồi tháng 5 vừa qua, tất cả cho thấy Việt Nam đang trở thành đối tác ngày càng quan trọng của Mỹ.
Đánh giá về hợp tác thương mại song phương, chuyên gia Matthew P. Goodman, Cố vấn cấp cao về kinh tế châu Á của CSIS, cho rằng Việt Nam và Mỹ đă đạt tiến bộ to lớn trong quan hệ song phương thông qua mở rộng hợp tác thương mại và đầu tư trong nhiều năm qua.
Theo ông, trong quá tŕnh đàm phán về Hiệp định Đối tác xuyên Thái B́nh Dương (TPP), quan hệ song phương Việt-Mỹ đă đạt tới tầm cao mới với một thỏa thuận cơ bản, bởi vậy, sau khi Mỹ rút khỏi TPP, ông đang chờ đợi chính quyền Tổng thống Donald Trump sẽ đưa ra đề xuất ǵ thay thế.
Ông Goodman cho rằng Tổng thống Donald Trump sẽ công bố tầm nh́n rơ ràng và tích cực về sự can dự của Mỹ ở khu vực châu Á - Thái B́nh Dương, trong đó có kinh tế và thương mại.
Theo ông, Mỹ sẽ thúc đẩy các quy tắc thương mại theo hướng tự do, rộng mở, tăng cường lợi ích của Mỹ và cả khu vực./.

CSVN định đi hàng 2 như TC, giàu mạnh nhờ tư bản (mặc dù vẫn chửi bới song song di dân và ăn cắp chất xám thoải mái) nhưng vẫn củng cố chế độ CS...Càng nh́n Trump th́ càng thấy tư cách của con nợ cung kính với chủ nợ mà thôi, showman chứ trong đầu Trump th́ lồng lộn lắm đấy !
