Ông Donald Trump đă viết về trùm khủng bố Osama bin Laden trong một cuốn sách xuất bản vào năm 2000. Trong đó, ông đă chỉ trích ông Bill Clinton v́ đă không tiêu diệt tên này trước vụ tấn công đẫm máu ngày 11/9

Business Insider đưa tin cho biết, Tổng thống Trump ngày 19/11 nói rằng ông từng “chỉ mặt” tên trùm khủng bố Osama bin Laden trong cuốn sách mà ông xuất bản năm 2000 khi ông vẫn c̣n là tỷ phú bất động sản và chưa chính thức đặt chân vào con đường chính trị.



“Dĩ nhiên là chúng ta nên sớm tóm gọn tên bin Laden. Tôi từng nhắc đến hắn trong một cuốn sách trước khi vụ tấn công ở tháp đôi Trung tâm Thương mại Thế giới xảy ra. Cựu Tổng thống Clinton đă không làm việc này. Chúng ta đă trả cho Pakistan hàng tỷ USD và họ không bao giờ tiết lộ rằng tên khủng bố đang ở đâu. Thật ngốc nghếch!”, ông Trump nói, ngầm chỉ trích chính quyền ông Bill Clinton đă không tiêu diệt tên bin Laden trước khi vụ tấn công đẫm máu xảy ra.

Ông Trump từng nhắc tới bin Laden trong cuốn sách “The America We Deserve” (Tạm dịch: Nước Mỹ mà chúng ta đáng được hưởng), xuất bản vào năm 2000.

Cuốn sách có đề cập tới bin Laden trong chương viết về chính sách đối ngoại của Washington. Tuy nhiên, ông Trump không kêu gọi Mỹ tấn công hay tiêu diệt bin Laden, cũng như không đưa ra một dự đoán cụ thể nào. Thay vào đó, ông Trump sử dụng tên trùm khủng bố là một ví dụ cho cái mà ông gọi là “chính sách đối ngoại nguy hiểm”.

Trong suốt chiến dịch tranh cử năm 2016, ông Trump tuyên bố ông đă dự đoán trước được vụ tấn công.

Gần đây, ông Trump đă chỉ trích cựu đô đốc hải quân William McRaven, người từng chỉ huy đội đặc nhiệm SEAL trong chiến dịch tiêu diệt bin Laden năm 2011. Ông Trump gọi ông McRaven là “người ủng hộ cựu Ngoại trưởng Hillary Clinton và cựu Tổng thống Barack Obama”.

“Họ đă diệt được bin Laden nhưng hắn ta sống ở một nơi yên b́nh ở Pakistan, sát bên một học viện quân sự và mọi người Pakistan đều biết hắn ở đó. Nếu chúng ta tiêu diệt được Osama bin Laden sớm hơn, không tốt hơn sao?”, ông Trump nói.

Ông McRaven đă bác bỏ thông tin trên. Đặc nhiệm SEAL Robert O'Neill, người đă tiêu diệt tên trùm khét tiếng, nhấn mạnh rằng nhiệm vụ t́m diệt bin Laden là nhiệm vụ lưỡng đảng, v́ cả 2 bên đều mong muốn bắt tên khủng bố đầu sỏ càng sớm càng tốt.

Ngoài ra, trong cuộc phỏng vấn với Fox News ngày 18/11, ông Trump đồng thời cáo buộc Pakistan “không làm bất cứ điều ǵ cho Mỹ” trong khi tên bin Laden ẩn nấp tại đây trong suốt nhiều năm. Từ khi nhậm chức, ông Trump đă cắt 800 triệu USD hỗ trợ quân sự cho Pakistan chính v́ lư do trên.

10 năm sau vụ 11/9, trùm khủng bố Osama bin Laden bị đặc nhiệm SEAL tiêu diệt khi hắn đang lẩn trốn trong một căn nhà ở Abbottabad, Pakistan. Ông Trump đă chỉ trích Pakistan v́ không cung cấp thông tin trong chừng đó năm dù Mỹ vẫn viện trợ cho họ.

Thủ tướng Pakistan Imran Khan ngày 19/11 đă chỉ trích phát ngôn của ông Trump: “Pakistan đă mất đi 75.000 dân thường trong cuộc chiến, và nền kinh tế thiệt hại 123 tỷ USD. Khoản viện trợ 20 tỷ USD của Mỹ chưa là ǵ so với mất mát của Pakistan”.

Cả hai Clinton và Bush cũng không thể tiêu diệt được Bin Ladin, nhưng ông (Trăm) đốt pháo cái miệng quá đi thôi, sao ông không giỏi t́m ra mấy thằng xă súng giết chết những người dân vô tội ở Mỹ cho dân nhờ cái đi???
