Sau khi ông Trump đăng nội dung trên mạng xă hội Twitter rằng 4 nữ nghị sĩ Mỹ gốc nước ngoài nên trở về quê hương, khiến một bộ phận không nhỏ người dân nước này đă cảm thấy “chạnh ḷng”.

Một nhóm nghị sĩ đảng Dân chủ, chủ yếu là nữ và là người da màu, đă chỉ trích chính sách nhập cư của Tổng thống Trump, đặc biệt là t́nh trạng của các cơ sở tập trung người nhập cư bất hợp pháp ở biên giới.

Tổng thống Trump sau đó đăng trên mạng xă hội Twitter rằng nếu các nghị sĩ “ghét nước Mỹ” th́ họ có thể quay trở về “góp sức cải thiện quê hương nhiều tội phạm và bị tàn phá” sau đó “trở lại Mỹ và chia sẻ kinh nghiệm”.

Hăng thông tấn AP (Mỹ) cho biết nội dung trên Twitter của Tổng thống Trump trực tiếp nhắm đến 4 nữ nghị sĩ đảng Dân chủ là Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley và Rashida Tlaib. Tất cả những nữ nghị sĩ này đều là công dân Mỹ, trong đó có 3 người được sinh ra trên lănh thổ Mỹ.

Nội dung đăng Twitter của Tổng thống Trump khiến nhiều người liên tưởng đến câu nói phân biệt chủng tộc mà người da màu tại Mỹ thường vấp phải là "quay trở về châu Phi".

Bà Erika Almiron (42 tuổi) là người nhập cư từ Paraguay cho biết đă nhiều lần nghe câu nói tương tự về việc “quay trở về quê hương” từ khi bà c̣n nhỏ và học tại trường tiểu học đa số học sinh người da trắng. Bà Almiron nói: “Lúc đó, tôi chỉ nói rằng minh sinh ra tại Nam Philly vậy các bạn muốn tôi phải làm ǵ?”.

Đối với nhiều người Mỹ, nội dung Tổng thống Trump đăng ngày 14/7 trên Twitter đă gửi đi thông điệp rằng họ không được chào đón tại chính đất nước của ḿnh. Câu nói “quay trở về quê hương” gợi nhớ đến những khoảnh khắc gây tổn thương trong cuộc sống của họ.

Ngày 15/7, Tổng thống Trump phát biểu với các phóng viên rằng ông không lo ngại về những lời chỉ trích bởi “có rất nhiều người đồng ư với tôi”.

Ông Rashad Robinson tại tổ chức nhân quyền Color of Change nhận xét: “Điều này là cái kết cho khẩu hiệu ‘Khiến nước Mỹ vĩ đại trở lại’, v́ nó tạo định kiến rằng nước Mỹ chỉ tuyệt vời khi có một số người phải ra đi”.

Doanh nhân Michael Rashid (72 tuổi) tại Philadelphia đ.ánh giá tuyên bố của Tổng thống Trump gợi nhớ về việc cách đó hơn một thập niên, một người phụ nữ nói rằng ông “nên quay trở về châu Phi”.

Trong cuộc khảo sát ư kiến do AP kết hợp cùng Trung tâm nghiên cứu NORC thực hiện tháng 2/2017, một nửa những người Mỹ được hỏi cho biết việc pha trộn nền văn hóa và giá trị từ nhiều nơi trên thế giới là một bản sắc quan trọng của nước Mỹ.

Có ǵ mà phải "chạnh ḷng" chứ; miễn là lũ "da màu" đừng có vênh váo ḿnh là người Mỹ chỉ v́ cái quốc tịch. Cái Trump nói là sự thật trần truồng dù nó có hơi phũ phàng. Với tao, đất Mỹ chỉ đơn giản là đất kiếm cơm... (khác với lũ 3Que thích kiếm phân dưới cống).... Hehehehe....

Có nhiều nhiều người bị bệnh quáng màu.

có những người suốt đời biết cái đầu chỉ để tóc thôi cho nên có những phát ngôn ngu như vậy. Mỹ làm cóc ǵ mà có da trắng,đen,vàng. Anh, Pháp, Đức,Ư củng chỉ là dân nhập cư bởi vậy mới tạo nên hợp chủng quốc Hoa kỳ.có ngon tonton chơi như hitler ḱa. đuổi mẹ nó về xứ hết đi rồi dzô rừng chơi với da đỏ (Mỹ chính chủ).....
