Số người Mỹ ủng hộ luận tội Tổng thống Donald Trump đă tăng 5 điểm phần trăm lên 45% kể từ giữa tháng 4 từ kết quả thăm ḍ của Reuters/Ipsos.


Cuộc thăm ḍ ư kiến được tiến hành hngày 5/5, tuy nhiên không làm rơ liệu người Mỹ có muốn các hạ nghị sĩ đảng Dân chủ rút lại các cuộc điều tra hay tiếp tục gây áp lực để tiến hành luận tội.

Đây là câu hỏi cấp bách đối với các lănh đạo cao cấp đảng Dân chủ tại Hạ viện, những người đang cân nhắc xem có nên luận tội hay không dù có khả năng họ không thể vượt qua các đối thủ tại Thượng viện do đảng Cộng ḥa kiểm soát.

Hôm 9/5, Chủ tịch Hạ viện Nancy Pelosi nhấn mạnh rằng các nhà lănh đạo của ủy ban điều tra tại Hạ viện do đảng Dân chủ kiểm soát đang thực hiện cách tiếp cận từng bước.

"Đây là phương pháp có trật tự, dựa theo Hiến pháp. Chúng ta sẽ không đi nhanh hay chậm hơn diễn biến dẫn dắt chúng ta", bà Pelosi nói.

Ngoài con số 45% ủng hộ luận tội, cuộc thăm ḍ hôm 5/5 cho thấy 42% người Mỹ cho rằng ông Trump không nên bị luận tội. Phần c̣n lại cho biết họ không có ư kiến. Trước đó, cuộc khảo sát ngày 18-19/4 cho thấy 40% người Mỹ muốn luận tội ông Trump.

Cuộc khảo sát mới nhất cũng cho thấy 57% người được hỏi đồng ư rằng việc tiếp tục điều tra về Trump sẽ tác động vào hoạt động quan trọng của chính phủ.
Sau cuộc điều tra gần hai năm của công tố viên đặc biệt Robert Mueller về ông Trump và sự can thiệp của Nga vào cuộc bầu cử tổng thống Mỹ năm 2016, các hạ nghị sĩ đảng Dân chủ đang theo đuổi các cuộc điều tra về nhiệm kỳ tổng thống của ông Trump, gia đ́nh và lợi ích kinh doanh của ông.

Ông Trump chỉ trích hàng chục cuộc điều tra như vậy, từ chối tiết lộ tờ khai thuế của ḿnh, viện dẫn đặc quyền hành pháp để giữ kín bản báo cáo đầy đủ của Mueller và nộp đơn kiện để chặn các nhà điều tra Hạ viện.

Cuộc thăm ḍ cũng cho thấy 32% đồng ư rằng Quốc hội đối xử công bằng với báo cáo của Mueller, trong khi 47% không đồng ư.

Mức độ tín nhiệm của ông Trump không thay đổi so với cuộc thăm ḍ tương tự diễn ra vào tuần trước. 39% người được hỏi cho biết họ ủng hộ ông Trump, trong khi 55% cho biết họ không tán thành.

Cuộc thăm ḍ của Reuters/Ipsos được tiến hành trực tuyến bằng tiếng Anh trên khắp nước Mỹ, thu thập các câu trả lời từ 1.006 người trưởng thành và có khoảng tin cậy là 4 điểm phần trăm.

Tôi nghĩ sẽ không có xảy ra chuyện ǵ hết chỉ c̣n chờ tới ngày bầu cử tổng thống cũng sắp tới rồi quyết định cũng được...Bây giờ ai cũng mệt mỏi rối v́ sắp thắt lưng buột bụng tới đậy...
