Hôm thứ Ba, 26 tháng 5, 2020, mạng xã hội Twitter làm công việc Fact Check trong bức điện thư Tổng Thống phổ biến trên mạng của họ, và họ chịu trách nhiệm.

Họ thêm một cái link vào thông điệp ông gửi cho ‘quốc dân, đồng bào’; những cái link đó đưa độc giả đến sự thật đã bị Tổng Thống bóp méo cho tình thế xảy ra thuận theo ý ông.

Tổng Thống cực lực chỉ trích việc Twitter chứng minh ông nói sai, và cho là mạng xã hội đó dụng ý can thiệp vào cuộc bầu cử 2020; ông cũng ký executive order -hành pháp lệnh- cho các công ty truyền thông xă hội khỏi trách nhiệm đối với những nội dung được đăng trên mạng của họ. Mục đích của hành-pháp lệnh này là để loại đi cái cớ mà Twitter đã nêu lên khi họ làm Fact Check những điều ông ngổ ngáo dựng đứng, và phổ biến trên mạng Twitter.

Cái tweet đầu tiên của Tổng Thống Donald J. Trump bị Fact Check, ông viết ngày thứ Ba nguyên văn như sau:

“There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent. Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed. The Governor of California is sending Ballots to millions of people, anyone...”

Dịch:

“KHÔNG CÓ CÁCH NÀO (ZERO CACH) để lối Bầu Bằng Mail khỏi gian lận. Thùng thư sẽ bị cướp, phiếu bầu sẽ bị giả mạo, kể cả việc in thêm phiếu bầu giả, ký tên cử tri giả. Thống đốc California đang gửi vài triệu phiếu bầu cho mọi người, ...”

Ông Jack Dorsay -giám đốc công ty Twitter - cho là những điều Tổng Thống viết không đúng sự thật; ông thêm vào cái tweet của Tổng Thống một cái link -in mầu xanh- và vài dấu chấm than! Ông không giải thích xem ông than thở điều gì.

Còn cái link, thì chỉ cần nhấn vào đó để đọc đầy đủ về việc Bầu Bằng Mail -dễ dàng, không phải làm đuôi chờ vài tiếng đồng hồ, không cần bịt mặt nạ -vì không ra khỏi cửa- và không sợ bì con vi khuẩn Corona hỏi thăm.

Hôm thứ Năm, Tổng Thống tuyên bố ông sẽ đóng cửa, không cho mạng twitter hoạt động nữa, nếu dàn luật sư của Bạch Cung tìm được cách thực hiện hợp pháp việc đóng cửa. Nhiều mạng xã hội, và nhiều cơ quan truyền thông phạm tội kiểm duyệt và bất công đối với các chính khách bảo thủ.

Sau khi ký ‘lệnh hành pháp’, trong đó ông nhấn mạnh đến việc ông ‘cam kết tranh luận tự do và cởi mở trên internet,’ ông vẫn hậm hực về việc Twitter ‘kiểm duyệt’ quan điểm của ông bằng cách Fact Check -kiểm lại sự kiện; ông nói với nhóm phóng viên truyền thông túc trực tại bạch cung, “tôi phải đóng mạng đó lại, tôi muốn đóng nó lắm, nhưng tôi phải làm việc đó hợp pháp. Nếu kiếm được cách đóng mạng Twitter, tôi sẽ làm ngay.”

Nhưng tự do ngôn luận lại là điều được tu chính án số 1 bảo vệ thì chắc tổng thống không đóng mạng twitter được, dù nó làm ông bực mình.

Hơn nữa, mạng Twitter cũng đã chịu đựng nhiều tai tiếng vì để ông sử dụng mạng làm phương tiện loan truyền nhiều điều thất thiệt và gây buồn phiền cho nhiều người. Một trường hợp mới xảy ra là vụ Trump viết tweet về cái chết của cô Lori Klausutis -một thiếu phụ tử nạn từ năm 2001- cô ngã vập đầu vào bàn trong lúc làm việc tại văn phòng Dân Biểu Joe Scarborough- một kẻ mà ông thù ghét.

Hiện nay, ông Scarborough là host của một chương trình truyền hình trên đài MSNBC, và bị ông Trump thù ghét vì ông Scarborough thường chỉ trích ông, như mới đây, nhân vụ Bộ Tư Pháp miễn tố ông tướng Michael Flynn -người có thành tích trong cuộc vận động tranh cử cho ông Trump, năm 2016.

Trump gọi Flynn là ‘một vị anh hùng’ và gọi nhân viên FBI -những người bắt và truy tố Flynn- là bọn ‘scum’ - cặn bã xã hội.

Scarborough nhận xét, “Tổng thống Hoa Kỳ gọi nhân viên cảnh sát liên bang là bọn ‘scum’ chỉ vì họ làm bổn phận của họ, ông còn mắng họ ‘phản quốc’ cũng chỉ vị họ làm bổn phận của họ. Qủa đúng là thời mạt vận của nền văn hóa chính trị Hoa Kỳ.”

Ông chồng của cô Klausutis, viết thư yêu cầu ông Dorsey -giám đốc twitter - gỡ bỏ tất cả những gì ông Trump viết về vợ ông, và gọi những điều đó là ‘horrifying lies’ -những gian dối khiếp đảm.

Trên truyền hình, ông Scarborough gọi ngôn từ Trump sử dụng là ‘tàn nhẫn hết chỗ nói,’ trong lúc trên CNN, Jake Tapper dùng chữ ‘malicious lies’ - những lời nói dối có ác ý.

Twitter tuyên bố ‘họ chân thành xin lỗi’ vì đã phổ biến những ngôn từ gây đau lòng cho gia đình Klausutis, nhưng Dorsey vẫn không chịu gỡ bỏ cái twitt của ông Trump. Ông ta sợ hay bênh vực ông Trump?

Trong một cái tweet khác sau đó -vẫn trên mạng Twitter- Trump chỉ trích Dorsey là “interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election” -can dự vào cuộc bầu cử tổng thống 2020. Vẫn chưa vừa ý, ông viết thêm một cái twitt khác, kế tội Dorsay “completely stifling FREE SPEECH.” -hoàn toàn bóp nghẹt tự do ngôn luận.

Brad Parscale, quản lý cuộc tranh cử của ông Trump nhận định, “Chúng tôi biết trước thái độ của Silicon Valley là làm mọi việc họ có thể làm để cản trở và can thiệp không cho Tổng thống Trump gửi thông điệp của ông ta tới cử tri.”


Giáo sư luật Tiffany C. Li (ảnh trên) -khách mời của Boston University School of Law- nhận định, “Đây là lần thứ nhất Twitter làm một việc thật nhỏ để kềm chế tổng thống; việc nhỏ đó sẽ được lan rộng, giới truyền thông đang ý thức được bổn phận và trách nhiệm của họ.”

Hy vọng lời tiên đoán của giáo sư Li về thái độ thức giấc, ngồi dậy, rồi nhanh chóng đứng lên của truyền thông Mỹ là đúng; dù sao cô cũng đã đúng trong nhận xét ‘Đây là lần thứ nhất Twitter làm một việc thật nhỏ để kềm chế tổng thống.’

dạo này có nhiều thằng chắc thất nghiệp sao mà cứ rủ nguời ta đi biểu t́nh vậy nè .. chắc là để che dấu 100k nguời chết v́ cô-vi19 .. tui đóan là sẽ ch́m xuồng luôn cho coi
