Mike Pence Calls Donald Trump ‘My Father’ In Facebook Campaign Ad


Tuy thế, chẳng phải không có những chuyện “mắc cười” có tính thời đại.

Ví dụ như chuyện ông Phó tổng thống Mike Pence, 61 tuổi, người gọi Tổng thống Trump, 74, là “cha tôi”.


Trong một quảng cáo có trả tiền trên mạng cho Quỹ Donald J. Trump For President, Inc. thực hiện, ông Pence đă bảo trợ và đưa ra lời kêu gọi những người ủng hộ ông Trump hăy đóng góp cho quỹ vận động với lời thúc giục như sau:

“Chúng tôi cần bạn ngay tức th́. Mỗi người ái quốc cần phải nhấn tới nếu chúng ta muốn tiêu diệt giấc mơ của Joe ngái ngủ muốn biến nước Mỹ trở thành một nước xă hội chủ nghĩa có chính phủ nở ph́nh. Tôi đă thuyết phục cha tôi cho quí bạn môt cơ hội nữa, cho nên ông đă quyết định gia hạn đề nghị đối ứng 500% tiền đóng góp của bạn thêm một giờ nữa...”.

Ông Pence ít khi nói đến cha ḿnh, cho nên chẳng ai biết cha ông là ai, cho đến bây giờ. Dĩ nhiên, ông Pence cứ sợ ông Trump bỏ ḿnh để chọn người khác đứng phó.

Nhưng Pence có tật tâng bốc Trump thái quá để lấy điểm. Trump chỉ hơn Pence 13 tuổi. Và khi cỏn 13 tuổi, Trump nghe nói đang c̣n đi học... Sau đó, Pence rút đi cái quảng cáo này, v́ sợ mang tiếng đời và gây tranh tụng với các con của Trump về việc thừa hưởng gia sản.

A campaign ad for President Donald Trump that appeared on Vice President Mike Pence’s social media accounts Friday referred to Trump as “my father.”

In messages posted on Pence’s verified Facebook and Instagram profiles, the vice president urged “EVERY Patriot” to step up and donate money if they want to defeat presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden in November.

“I convinced my father to give you another chance, which is why he’s decided to EXTEND your PERSONAL 500%-MATCH OFFER FOR 1 MORE HOUR,” the ad added:
