1 người đăng kư 51 đơn - 30 tên của người chết, 21 người không xác định được danh tính. Các nhà điều tra ở tiểu bang Florida đang nỗ lực ngăn chặn gian lận phiếu bầu, trong đó phát hiện một người đăng kư cả tên người đă chết, và là cử tri của đảng Dân chủ.

Theo Dailycaller, 51 đơn xin đăng kư cử tri mới đă được gửi tới văn pḥng bầu cử Hạt Broward vào tháng Bảy. Điều tra cho thấy, các ứng dụng đều được gửi bởi một cá nhân không rơ danh tính ở Columbia (tiểu bang Nam Carolina) và mỗi đơn này đều có chữ viết tay giống nhau.

Các quan chức bầu cử của Hạt Broward đă chuyển các đơn đăng kư này cho văn pḥng luật sư tại Hạt Broward sau khi dán nhăn “Nghi ngờ”.

Văn pḥng luật sư xác nhận trong số 51 đơn đăng kư th́ có tới 30 người có tên trong đơn đăng kư đă qua đời. Trong lá thư ngày 22/10 do Trợ lư Luật sư Tiểu bang Tim Donnelly gửi có nêu rơ: Các bản đăng kư chỉ điền tên và ngày sinh, phần điền thông tin bằng lái xe và số an sinh xă hội bị bỏ trống. 21 người c̣n lại không thể xác minh được danh tính.

Theo thông tin, chỉ 5 người trong danh sách này đă được đăng kư bỏ phiếu, nhưng không có phiếu bầu vắng mặt nào được yêu cầu ứng với tên đăng kư. Ngày 24/10 là ngày cuối cùng yêu cầu bỏ phiếu vắng mặt. Trong số những người nộp đơn có 2 người đă qua đời vào tháng 6 nhưng lại được đăng kư thành công vào tháng 7.

Người Giám sát bầu cử tại hạt Broward - Pete Antonacci cho biết: “Đây là hành vi có tổ chức của một người biết một chút ít về luật pháp tiểu bang Florida và đang âm mưu phá hoại hệ thống đăng kư của Florida với những cử tri giả mạo hoặc dự định bỏ phiếu 50 lần”.

Có vẻ như kẻ lừa đảo đang lợi dụng thực tế là có một khoảng thời gian kể từ khi một cử tri qua đời cho tới khi các quan chức bầu cử được thông báo về cái chết của người đó, ông Antonacci nói.

“Hệ thống này dựa trên danh dự, có nghĩa là nếu bạn nói dối trên một trong những ứng dụng này th́ đó là tội ác,” ông nói thêm. "Tức là họ đă xâm nhập vào hệ thống này một cách có chủ ư".

Trong bức thư của Trợ lư luật sư Donnelly gửi cho người giám sát bầu cử Antonacci cho biết: Tội sử dụng giấy tờ tùy thân trái phép của người khác có thể sẽ phải nhận mức án tối thiểu là 10 năm tù.

Luật sư Mike Satz của hạt Broward cho biết họ rất coi trọng “mọi cáo buộc về gian lận cử tri”

Satz nói: “Bất kỳ ai có thông tin liên quan đến việc phạm tội gian lận cử tri đều nên báo cáo cho Giám sát viên bầu cử và Văn pḥng luật sư tại hạt Broward để được điều tra kỹ càng”.

Tốt nhất là gởi cho nó đi học tập cải tạo ở VN, vừa rẻ tiền (đở tốn thuế của dân Mỹ) vừa hiệu quả cao. VN lại kiếm thêm được một số tiền cho ngân quỷ, cán ngố lại có cơ hội tham nhũng. Cái này gọi là win, win, win, win. Ai cũng được lợi.
