Ông Phùng Quang Thanh, cựu bộ trưởng Quốc Pḥng CSVN, đột ngột qua đời tại tư gia, hưởng thọ 72 tuổi, sau khi các báo ở Việt Nam đưa tin vào sáng 11 Tháng Chín, giờ địa phương Phùng Quang Thanh chết đột ngột tại tư gia.

Ông Thanh đứng đầu Bộ Quốc Pḥng suốt mười năm, từ 2006 đến 2016, mang quân hàm đại tướng.

Theo báo Tuổi Trẻ, ông Thanh qua đời “sau một thời gian lâm bệnh, mặc dù được đảng, nhà nước, tập thể các giáo sư, bác sĩ tận t́nh cứu chữa, gia đ́nh hết ḷng chăm sóc.”

Các báo không cho biết cụ thể ông Thanh bị bệnh ǵ. Do t́nh h́nh dịch bệnh COVID-19 tại Hà Nội đang diễn biến phức tạp, lễ tang ông Thanh sẽ được thông báo sau.

Báo Tuổi Trẻ cũng ca ngợi ông Thanh “là vị tướng trưởng thành qua chiến đấu” và “là một tấm gương sáng về tinh thần chiến đấu anh dũng, kiên cường, ư chí và nghị lực vươn lên.”

Điều kỳ lạ là ba tuần trước, báo Quân Đội Nhân Dân gây hoang mang khi đăng bài “Đại Tướng Phùng Quang Thanh – dũng tướng của quân đội nhân dân Việt Nam.”

Thời điểm đó, công luận suy đoán rằng việc báo này đột ngột ca ngợi thành tựu của vị cựu bộ trưởng là “lành ít, dữ nhiều.”

Báo Quân Đội Nhân Dân cũng tiết lộ ông Thanh “là con liệt sĩ thời kỳ kháng chiến chống Pháp, mồ côi cha khi mới 1 tuổi.”

Vị cựu bộ trưởng được mô tả là có “những chiến công hiển hách và công lao đóng góp cho sự nghiệp cách mạng.”

Tuy vậy, tên tuổi Phùng Quang Thanh gắn liền với tin đồn lan truyền hồi năm 2015 về việc ông thường xuyên vắng mặt trong các sự kiện chính trị quan trọng của Việt Nam trong một thời gian dài.

Ông Phùng Quang Thanh (trái) tiếp ông Thường Vạn Toàn, bộ trưởng Quốc Pḥng Trung Quốc, hồi năm 2016 tại Hà Nội.

Thời điểm đó, đă có những đồn đoán về t́nh trạng bệnh tật khiến ông Thanh phải sang Pháp chữa trị.

Một bản tin trên báo Tuổi Trẻ hồi Tháng Bảy, 2015, cho biết ông Thanh được một bệnh viện ở Pháp giải phẫu do “chấn thương vùng ngực từ thời chiến khiến phổi của ông Thanh bị xơ hóa một phần.”

Cũng theo báo này, kết quả sinh thiết không cho thấy ông Thanh bị ung thư nhưng “ho nặng” và xơ hóa phổi có thể là dấu hiệu của bệnh ung thư phổi.

Liên quan vụ này, hăng tin DPA của Đức lấy nguồn tin khuyết danh trong bệnh viện, đưa tin ông Phùng Quang Thanh “qua đời vào ngày 19 Tháng Bảy, 2015, tại một bệnh viện ở Pháp khi đang chữa trị bệnh ung thư phổi.” Sau đó, ông Vơ Văn Tuấn, phó tổng tham mưu trưởng Quân Đội Nhân Dân Việt Nam, đă bác bỏ thông tin của DPA v́ đă “lấy từ một nguồn tin quân đội không có thẩm quyền phát ngôn.” (N.H.K) [qd]

Phùng Quang Thanh có công rất lớn cho chủ trương của đảng "hèn với giặc, ác với dân". Có lẽ chết v́ covid do có bệnh nền, nhưng do thói quen phét lác của báo đài đâu thể đưa tin 1 vị "ranh tướng" của VC lại bị chết gầm giường như vậy nên thống nhất với nhau chỉ cho đưa tin "chết bất ngờ". Nếu dùng từ kiểu Việt cộng là chết đúng theo quy tŕnh.

Dám chết v́ Thượng mă Phong lắm. Có ai thấy xác hông. Thôi thế cũng anh hùng lắm rồi.
