Cư dân mạng đã phanh phui sự thật về bức ảnh được chụp năm 2004, khi tổng thống Mỹ đương nhiệm khi ấy là ông George W. Bush cũng tới tham dự sự kiện giải đua xe của NASCAR, chứ không phải bức hình chụp chiến Air Force One của ông Trump ngày 16-2 tại Florida, khi người quản lý chiến dịch tranh cử của Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump đã phải xóa bỏ tấm hình chụp chiếc chuyên cơ của tổng thống Mỹ sau khi bị tổ đó là hình từ năm 2004.

Theo Đài CNN (Mỹ), ông Brad Parscale, giám đốc chiến dịch tái tranh cử tổng thống của ông Trump, đã phải xóa bức hình ghi lại khoảnh khắc vô cùng ấn tượng: chiếc Air Force One (chuyên cơ của tổng thống Mỹ) như đang bay lên từ giữa biển người ủng hộ xung quanh.

Tấm hình này ban đầu được ông Brad Parscale đăng lên tài khoản Twitter, nói đó là hình ảnh chuyên cơ của Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump tại bang Florida khi ông đến đây và có bài phát biểu nhân sự kiện mở đầu chặng đua huyền thoại Daytona 500 (chặng đua dài 500 dặm, tức 805km, do Hiệp hội xe đua thương mại Mỹ (NASCAR) tổ chức thường niên tại bãi biển Daytona ở tiểu bang Florida, Mỹ).

Khi đăng tấm hình này, ông Brad Parscale đã viết thêm đoạn "caption" (chú thích): "Tổng thống Donald Trump đã giành chiến thắng tại sự kiện #Daytona500 trước ngay cả trước khi cuộc đua bắt đầu".

Tuy nhiên sau đó một số cư dân mạng đã phanh phui sự thật, nói đó là bức ảnh được chụp năm 2004, khi tổng thống Mỹ đương nhiệm khi ấy là ông George W. Bush cũng tới tham dự sự kiện giải đua xe của NASCAR, chứ không phải bức hình chụp chiến Air Force One của ông Trump ngày 16-2 tại Florida.

Đoạn tweet của ông Brad Parscale tồn tại trên mạng khoảng 3 tiếng đồng hồ, có được ít nhất 6.700 lượt tweet lại (retweet) của người dùng Twitter và 23.000 lượt like trước khi bị xóa bỏ.

Người chụp bức ảnh đó là ông Jonathan Ferrey. Bức ảnh được chụp ngày 15-2-2004 sau khi ông Bush tới thăm đường đua và chiếc Air Force One cất cánh khỏi sân bay quốc tế Daytona Beach gần đó.

Trao đổi với Đài CNN về sự việc bức hình của mình bị "dùng sai hoàn cảnh", ông Jonathan Ferrey nói: "Tôi có rất nhiều đồng nghiệp tài năng đang tác nghiệp tại sự kiện Daytona 500 năm nay".

"Rất tiếc là hôm nay tôi đã không may mắn được có mặt tại đó, nhưng rõ ràng là tôi đã giành chiến thắng về nhiếp ảnh tại sự kiện Daytona 500 thậm chí trước khi cuộc đua bắt đầu", ông châm biếm khi dùng lại cách nói trong đoạn tweet của giám đốc chiến dịch tranh cử của Tổng thống Trump.

Sau khi "hứng đủ gạch đá" từ cư dân mạng, thậm chí có cả ý kiến phản hồi từ Đài VOA, ông Brad Parscale rốt cuộc cũng đã chịu thay tấm hình bị chỉ trích bằng một tấm khác không ấn tượng bằng nhưng vẫn kiên quyết giữ lại lời chú thích ban đầu.
