CNN – Ngoại Trưởng Hoa Kỳ bác bỏ lập luận cho là khí hậu toàn cầu thay đổi là một khuynh hướng dài lâu và cho là xă hội loài người có thể thích nghi với chuyện này.

Trong cuộc phỏng vấn với báo Washington Post hôm cuối tuần, ông Pompeo cho hay: “Khí hậu đă và đang thay đổi từ lâu, nó luôn luôn thay đổi mà”

Ngoại Trưởng Pompeo không bao giờ nhắc tới vai tṛ của con người như là tác nhân hàng đầu đă làm thay đổi t́nh trạng khí hậu như hiện nay.

Ông nói như sau: ‘Các xă hội con người tái cấu trúc lại, chúng ta di dân đến các nơi khác nhau, chúng ta triển khai kỹ thuật, tôi tin chắc là nhân loại sẽ làm chuyện cần thiết khi khí hậu thay đổi”

Pompeo cho là không chỉ có kỹ thuật mới là giải pháp đối phó duy nhất, ông nhắc đến Ḥa Lan, vốn có một phần lănh thổ nằm dưới mực nước biển, như là một thí dụ cho thấy con người biết thich nghi ra sao.

Những nhận định khá kỳ lạ của ông Pompeo không phải là lần đầu tiên ông đưa ra về khí hậu thay đổi. Vào tháng 5, ông từng ca tụng việc tan băng ở Bắc Cực là cơ hội ‘cho phát triển kinh tế và giao thương bằng hải lộ’

Nhưng giới t́nh báo Hoa Kỳ lại đưa ra cảnh báo về các mối nguy do thay đổi khí hậu mang lại, kể cả ‘đe dọa cho sức khỏe dân chúng, di dân rầm rộ, tự do tôn giáo bị xâm phạm và môi trường xuống dốc trầm trọng, gây ra bất ổn lớn lao cho xă hội nói chung’

Nếu chấp nhận thay đổi khí hậu, th́ những ngành nghề có ảnh hưởng môi trường, sẽ bị hạn chế hoặc là bị cấm như những nước khác.

Đúng vậy, thay đổi khí hậu, con người và muôn loài sẽ thích nghi được. Nhưng cần rất nhiều thời gian so với tuổi đời. Hệ sinh thái thiên nhiên không phải là white house muốn thay đổi sáng chiều cũng được ! Ở VN có những cán bộ xuẫn, th́ ở Mỹ cũng có những thằng idiot officer. Sống gần ngáo th́ sẽ ngáo thôi !
