Cựu Tổng thống Mỹ Barack Obama không thể ngồi yên khi dịch bệnh Covid-19 đă giết chết tới 80.000 người Mỹ rồi. Cuối cùng ông cũng phải đưa ra chỉ trích hiếm hoi về cách ứng phó đại dịch Covid-19 của chính quyền Tổng thống Donald Trump.

Theo số liệu trên trang web Worldometer, tính đến chiều 9/5 theo giờ địa phương, số người chết v́ Covid-19 tại Mỹ chính thức cán mốc 80.000 người, tăng gần 1.400 ca so với một ngày trước đó. Số ca mắc mới cũng tăng hơn 24.000, nâng tổng số người mắc Covid-19 tại nước này lên hơn 1,34 triệu ca.

Forbes ngày 9/5 dẫn lời 3 cựu quan chức trong chính quyền của ông Barack Obama, cho biết ông Obama đă đưa ra những chỉ trích gay gắt về cách ứng phó đại dịch của chính quyền Tổng thống Trump, gọi đó là "thảm họa hỗn loạn tuyệt đối".

Ông Obama nói rằng, điều này là một lời nhắc nhở v́ sao cần một sự lănh đạo mạnh mẽ của chính phủ trong một cuộc khủng hoảng toàn cầu.

“Cuộc bầu cử đang đến gần rất quan trọng bởi thứ mà chúng ta đang đối phó không chỉ là một cá nhân hay một đảng phái chính trị. Thứ chúng ta đang phải đối phó là những xu hướng dài hạn trong đó có sự ích kỷ, chia rẽ, coi người khác là kẻ thù. Đó là một phần lư do v́ sao phản ứng với cuộc khủng hoảng toàn cầu này yếu ớt… Đây là một thảm họa hỗn loạn hoàn toàn”, ông Obama nói.

Vị tổng thống thứ 44 của Mỹ cho biết, đó là lư do ông dành nhiều thời gian để ủng hộ cho chiến dịch tranh cử của cựu Phó tổng thống Joe Biden, ứng viên tiềm năng của đảng Dân chủ trong cuộc chạy đua vào Nhà Trắng năm nay.

Thư kư báo chí Nhà Trắng Kayleigh McEnany đă lên tiếng bác bỏ chỉ trích này của ông Obama. “Cách ứng phó đại dịch Covid-19 của Tổng thống Trump là chưa từng có tiền lệ và đă cứu được rất nhiều người Mỹ”.

Ô bà má ! nếu như ông đang làm TT th́ có lẽ không phải là 80k như thời điểm hiện tại mà có thể là 200k hoặc hơn nữa, ông TT Trump đă đóng cửa những chuyến bay từ t+ hoặc quá cảnh qua Hongkong , macao mặc dù t+ và WHO đă lên tiếng chưa cần thiết .
Nh́n lại đi t+ coi ông đếch ra ǵ khi sang thăm t+ , ngược lại ông Trump làm cho t+ ăn ngủ không yên, kinh tế, công ăn việc làm gia tăng.
