TOLEDO, Ohio (NV) – Trong lần gặp gỡ cử tri ở thành phố Toledo, tiểu bang Ohio, vào tối ngày Thứ Năm, 9 Tháng Giêng, Tổng Thống Donald Trump có vẻ muốn “xả” ra một trong những ấm ức đă đeo theo ông trong thời gian qua.

Ông Trump nói rằng ông mới xứng đáng là người đoạt giải Nobel Ḥa B́nh 2019 v́ ông đă ra tay cứu vớt “một quốc gia,” mà nay người lănh đạo quốc gia đó đoạt giải, chứ không phải ông.

Tổng Thống Donald Trump kể sự t́nh với đám đông ở Toledo như sau.

“Tôi sẽ kể cho quư vị nghe về giải Nobel Ḥa B́nh, tôi sẽ cho quư vị biết về chuyện đó. Tôi làm được cái ‘deal.’ Tôi cứu vớt đất nước đó. Và sau đó tôi nghe rằng người lănh đạo quốc gia đó đoạt giải Nobel Ḥa B́nh v́ đă cứu vớt đất nước đó.”

Ông Trump kể tiếp về sự không hài ḷng của ông: “Tôi nghĩ, chuyện ǵ kỳ vậy. Tôi cũng có liên hệ vào việc này kia mà. Nhưng mà thôi, sự đời nó là như vậy. Miễn là chúng ta ai cũng biết th́ đó mới là điều quan trọng… Tôi giúp cho người ta tránh một cuộc chiến lớn, tôi đă từng giúp tránh vài cuộc chiến như vậy.”

Tuy rằng Tổng Thống Trump không nêu tên “ông đoạt giải Nobel Ḥa B́nh 2019” đó, người này chính là Thủ Tướng Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed. Ông Abiy, năm nay 43 tuổi, là người lănh đạo trẻ tuổi nhất ở một quốc gia tại Phi Châu.

Ông lên cầm quyền vào Tháng Tư, 2018 sau nhiều tháng trời có các cuộc biểu t́nh chống chính phủ khiến người tiền nhiệm của ông phải từ chức.

Ông Abiy đưa ra nhiều biện pháp cải cách cấp tiến tại Ethiopia, nới lỏng các biện pháp kiểm soát dân chúng vô cùng chặt chẽ ở nơi này.

Ông thả hàng ngàn người tranh đấu đ̣i dân chủ và cho phép thành phần đối lập lưu vong ở ngoại quốc được trở về nước.

Thủ Tướng Abiy cũng để cho giới truyền thông được tự do hoạt động và bổ nhiệm phụ nữ vào các vị trí quan trọng trong chính phủ.

Và vào Tháng Mười năm ngoái, ông được trao giải Nobel Ḥa B́nh.

Ủy Ban Giải Thưởng Ḥa B́nh ở Na Uy nói rằng ông Abiy được trao giải v́ đă đưa ra “các phương cách táo bạo để giải quyết cuộc tranh chấp biên giới với quốc gia láng giềng Eritrea.”

Hai bên có cuộc chiến từ năm 1998 tới 2000, làm hàng chục ngàn người chết.

Ủy ban cũng nói rằng từ khi có thỏa ước ḥa b́nh với Eritrea, ông Abiy cũng tham dự vào các nỗ lực ḥa b́nh tại các quốc gia Phi Châu khác.

You đừng gọi "BỢ" Trump là NGU nữa . Họ thích danh từ đẹp đẽ hơn:

Trong này có khối người có thể photoshop cho Ngài 1 cái, chuyện này tui chẳng rành.
