Công ty luật Porter Wright Morris & Arthur hôm thứ Năm đă rút khỏi một vụ kiện thay mặt cho chiến dịch tranh cử của Tổng thống Trump ở Pennsylvania thách thức kết quả bầu cử.


Diễn biến xảy ra chỉ ba ngày sau khi vụ kiện được đệ tŕnh lên ṭa án liên bang ở Pennsylvania sau khi Joe Biden được tuyên bố đắc cử tổng thống.

Đơn kiện là một trong số những vụ kiện liên quan đến cuộc bầu cử mà chiến dịch đă đệ tŕnh ở Pennsylvania và các bang khác. Đơn kiện cáo buộc những bất thường trong quá tŕnh bỏ phiếu ở các quận

Trong lá đơn gửi lúc gần nửa đêm, các luật sư làm việc tại văn pḥng Pittsburgh của công ty Porter Wright Morris & Arthur cho biết hiện họ đang tạm dừng và chờ các luật sư khác tiếp nhận vụ việc.

Các luật sư cho biết giữa công ty và phía chiến dịch của ông Trump đă đă đồng ư về việc rút lui nhưng không tiết lộ lư do.

Theo Politico, việc một công ty luật lớn xin rút tư cách đại diện cho khách hàng không lâu sau khi bắt đầu không phải là điều phổ biến. Vụ kiện, mới đưa ra trước ṭa ở Williamsport, bang Pennsylvania 4 ngày trước.

Do việc rút lui như vậy có thể gây thiệt hại cho đương sự, nên đơn rút lui cần được thẩm phán thụ lư vụ án chấp thuận. Các luật sư đại diện của công ty là Ronald Hicks và Carolyn McGee không có b́nh luận nào về vụ việc.

Phía chiến dịch tranh cử của ông Trump và luật sư riêng của ông cũng không đưa ra b́nh luận nào.

Giới am hiểu cho biết, nếu thẩm phán cho phép công ty luật Porter Wright rút lui, chiến dịch của ông Trump có thể t́m các luật sư hoạt động một ḿnh ở Philadelphia, bang Pennsylvania làm đại diện cho ḿnh.

Tờ New York Times đă đưa tin vào đầu tuần này rằng có những căng thẳng nội bộ tại công ty có trụ sở tại Columbus, Ohio, liên quan đến công việc của nó cho chiến dịch tranh cử của Trump ở Pennsylvania.

Trong vụ kiện cụ thể này, chiến dịch tranh cử của Trump đă kiện Thư kư bầu cử của Đảng Dân chủ và bảy hạt của Đảng Dân chủ vào thứ Hai, cáo buộc rằng các quận hạt đă thực hiện một hệ thống “hai tầng” bất hợp pháp, trong đó cử tri được tổ chức theo các tiêu chuẩn khác nhau tùy thuộc vào cách họ bỏ phiếu. Chiến dịch đang t́m cách ngăn chặn việc chứng nhận kết quả bầu cử của các bang cho đến khi vụ việc được giải quyết.

Bộ trưởng Tư pháp Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro (D) đă bác bỏ vụ kiện là “vô ích” và khẳng định rằng cuộc bầu cử của Pennsylvania, do các viên chức bầu cử lưỡng đảng giám sát, là “hợp pháp, công bằng và an toàn.”

Ủy ban Quốc gia Dân chủ và Liên minh Tự do Dân sự Hoa Kỳ đều đă can thiệp thành công vào vụ việc đang diễn ra.

Biden đă đánh bại Trump ở Pennsylvania với hơn 50.000 phiếu bầu.

Trump đă từ chối nhượng bộ Biden, người đă được tuyên bố là người chiến thắng trong cuộc đua tổng thống vào thứ Bảy và đánh bại đương nhiệm tại các chiến trường quan trọng là Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin và Arizona. Chiến dịch tranh cử của Trump đă nộp một số ít đơn kiện lên ṭa án liên bang và tiểu bang ở Pennsylvania.

Các viên chức bầu cử đă bác bỏ những tuyên bố không có cơ sở của Trump về việc gian lận cử tri trên diện rộng.

Tuần trước, công ty luật Snell & Wilmer ở Arizona, đại diện cho chiến dịch của ông Trump, cũng xin rút lui và được thẩm phán đồng ư vào ngày 10-11.

Một công ty khác là Jones Day ở Cleveland cũng bi áp lực v́ vai tṛ của ḿnh trong các vụ kiện tụng. Tuần trước, công ty này đă phải đưa ra tuyên bố làm rơ sự liên quan của họ đến cuộc bầu cử không phải là cho cho chiến dịch tranh cử của ông Trump mà là cho Đảng Cộng ḥa ở Pennsylvania và vụ việc đă bắt đầu vài tháng trước Ngày bầu cử.

Thật ra chỉ là PR, chứ văn pḥng luật sư trung b́nh mà đang ế ẩm như Porter Wright với 222 luật & trạng sư, xếp hạng 193 toàn quốc và gần 134 triệu USD doanh thu@2019, cũng chỉ đứng hạng 179/200 mà thôi. Người b́nh thường fải kiểm soát bằng chứng trước khi đệ đơn kiện chứ, huống hồ là luật sư ! Đồ dởm, si-da !

Haha, thấy mod HoangLan22 nắm quyền chức trong tay nên một khi thấy Ai không hùa theo ḿnh th́ cho ḿnh hay là "tŕnh độ quá và chỉ biết ... Loạn tư tưởng" nên xóa hết bài và c̣n hăm he xử FIRE y như bố già
