Cảnh sát bắn hơi cay mở đường cho Tổng thống Trump thăm nhà thờ lịch sử. Bất ngờ ngày 1/6 ông đi bộ từ Nhà Trắng sang thăm nhà thờ St. John, nơi xảy ra hỏa hoạn vào đêm trước khi người biểu t́nh chạm trán với cảnh sát chống bạo động.

Theo AP, Tổng thống Donald Trump sau khi có bài phát biểu tại Vườn Hồng của Nhà Trắng ngày 1/6 đă đi bộ sang nhà thờ St. John gần đó.

St. John c̣n được mệnh danh là "Nhà thờ của các tổng thống". Kể từ đời tổng thống James Madison, tất cả chủ nhân Nhà Trắng đều dự ít nhất một thánh lễ tại nhà thờ này.

Công tŕnh khoảng 200 năm tuổi xảy ra hỏa hoạn vào đêm 31/5 khi người biểu t́nh chạm trán với cảnh sát chống bạo động.

Lực lượng an ninh dùng hơi cay để giải tán người biểu t́nh trước chuyến thăm của ông Trump.

Phóng viên AP nghe thấy tiếng lựu đạn cay phát nổ khi tổng thống c̣n đang phát biểu tại Vườn Hồng. C̣n CNN cho biết cảnh sát sử dụng cả đạn cao su, bắn vào đám đông người biểu t́nh.

Trong khi đó, Axios mô tả cảnh sát vũ trang và cảnh sát công viên đă dùng vũ lực để giải tán người biểu t́nh ôn ḥa nhằm mở được cho tổng thống.

Ông kết thúc bài phát biểu ở Vườn Hồng với thông điệp: "Tôi sẽ đến bày tỏ ḷng tôn kính tại một nơi rất đặc biệt". Tổng thống Trump sau đó từ Nhà Trắng đi bộ ngang qua công viên Lafayette, cùng với nhóm rất đông các quan chức chính phủ, để đến nhà thờ St. John.

Trước khuôn viên nhà thờ, ông Trump cầm trên tay một quyển kinh thánh, giơ cao và tuyên bố: "Chúng ta là đất nước vĩ đại nhất thế giới". Ông không trả lời các câu hỏi từ báo chí khi đến nhà thờ St. John. Sau khi chụp một vài tấm ảnh, Tổng thống Trump trở về Nhà Trắng bằng lộ tŕnh ban đầu.

Các trợ lư đi cùng ông Trump, bao gồm Bộ trưởng Quốc pḥng Mark Esper, bộ đôi cố vấn cấp cao của Nhà Trắng gồm con gái Ivanka Trump và con rể Jared Kushner, Chánh văn pḥng Nhà Trắng Mark Meadows cùng một số nhân vật khác đều là người da trắng, theo Axios.

Trong phần phát biểu tại Nhà Trắng kêu gọi các thống đốc mạnh tay hơn trong đối phó biểu t́nh, ông Trump tự gọi ḿnh là "tổng thống của luật pháp và trật tự".

laughster, vô làm thơ giỡn chơi vậy không ngờ làm các em bé giận dữ!

Gặp cái anh chàng @tonydavidson nào đó c̣n đội tui lên cho làm Việt Cộng Trung Cộng luôn hahaaa...

Chủ trương của tui là nói sự việc chứ không tấn công cá nhân, bạn bè tui theo ông Trump đông nghẹt có sao đâu, chơi chung với họ tỉnh bơ.

Nhưng lên net chắc phải khác, gặp đội quân bám theo chửi mướn th́ quẹt cho cái phẹt, bay ra liền hahaaaa....
