Phần lớn người Mỹ không ủng hộ cách ông Trump đối phó biểu t́nh. Kết quả thăm ḍ của Reuters/Ipsos cho thấy, nhiều người Mỹ đồng cảm với các cuộc biểu t́nh và phản đối các xử lư t́nh h́nh của Tổng thống Trump.

Theo một cuộc thăm ḍ được Reuters/Ipsos công bố ngày 2/6, nhiều người dân Mỹ được hỏi đồng cảm với các cuộc biểu t́nh trên cả nước sau cái chết của người đàn ông da đen George Floyd và phản đối cách phản ứng của Tổng thống Trump về làn sóng bất ổn hiện nay.

Các cuộc biểu t́nh, bùng phát từ tuần trước sau khi một cảnh sát da trắng ở Minneapolis gh́ cổ người đàn ông da đen George Floyd gần 9 phút, thậm chí cả sau khi Floyd có vẻ như đă bất tỉnh. Nhân viên cảnh sát này đă bị cáo buộc giết người.

Cuộc khảo sát được tiến hành trong ngày 1-2/6 cho thấy 64% người Mỹ “đồng cảm với những người đang đổ xuống đường biểu t́nh” trong khi chỉ có 27% nói rằng họ có quan điểm ngược lại và 9% cho biết họ không thiên về quan điểm nào.

Cuộc khảo sát cũng cho thấy những rủi ro chính trị của Tổng thống Trump, người có cách tiếp cận cứng rắn đối với các cuộc biểu t́nh và đă dọa sẽ triển khai quân đội để dập tắt bạo lực.

Hơn 55% số người được hỏi nói rằng họ không đồng t́nh với cách Tổng thống Trump xử lư làn sóng biểu t́nh, trong đó 40% phản đối “mạnh mẽ”. Chỉ có 1/3 số người được hỏi (khoảng 33%) bày tỏ đồng t́nh với Tổng thống Trump – thấp hơn nhiều so với tỷ lệ ủng hộ nói chung 39% đối với Tổng thống Trump.

Một cuộc thăm ḍ khác về bầu cử 2020 của Reuters/Ipsos cũng cho thấy Joe Biden đang dẫn trước ông Trump 10 điểm %, khoảng cách lớn nhất kể từ tháng 4/2020.


Số cử tri độc lập nói rằng họ không đồng t́nh với cách phản ứng của Tổng thống Trump đă tăng gấp đôi. Ngay cả trong số các cử tri ủng hộ đảng Cộng ḥa, cũng chỉ có 67% nói rằng họ đồng t́nh với cách xử lư t́nh h́nh của ông Trump, thấp hơn đáng kể so với tỷ lệ 82% ủng hộ công việc nói chung của ông.

Cử tri Mỹ lo ngại về bạo lực

Dù nhiều cuộc biểu t́nh ban ngày đều diễn ra trong ḥa b́nh, nhưng một số cuộc đă dẫn tới đụng độ trong đêm giữa cảnh sát và người biểu t́nh.

Phần lớn cử tri Mỹ ủng hộ các cuộc biểu t́nh ḥa b́nh nhưng không đồng t́nh với việc gây thiệt hại về tài sản của những người biểu t́nh. Chưa đến 25% người Mỹ nói rằng bạo lực là một cách phản ứng phù hợp.

47% số cử tri hợp lệ nói rằng họ sẽ ủng hộ ông Biden trong cuộc bầu cử Tổng thống ngày 3/11, trong khi tỷ lệ ủng hộ ông Trump chỉ là 37%.

Quan điểm dư luận sẽ có nhiều biến động khi làn sóng biểu t́nh tiếp tục diễn ra ở các thành phố lớn của Mỹ mỗi đêm. Một vài nhân viên cảnh sát đă bị bắn trong đêm 1/6 và ông Trump đă chế nhạo các thống đốc không đề nghị quân đội trợ giúp.

Người Mỹ cũng chia rẽ về phản ứng của cảnh sát. Theo cuộc thăm ḍ, 43% tin rằng cảnh sát đang làm tốt trong khi 47% không đồng t́nh.

Cuộc thăm ḍ của Reuters/Ipsos về các cuộc biểu t́nh được tiến hành trực tuyến, bằng tiếng Anh, trên khắp nước Mỹ và thu thập ư kiến từ 1.004 người Mỹ trưởng thành. Cuộc thăm ḍ có độ sai số khoảng 4 điểm %.

Các cuộc thăm ḍ khác được tiến hành cùng thời điểm liên quan đến tỷ lệ ủng hộ nói chung đối với Tổng thống Trump và bầu cử 2020 nhận được phản hồi từ 1.113 người Mỹ trưởng thành và có sai số khoảng 3 điểm %./.

Chỉ có lũ Mỹ đen, lũ Mễ, lũ lợi dụng để cướp bóc, phá hoại, giết cảnh sát, vv... mới "không đồng cảm"; chứ tao thấy tao hơi nhẹ tay à nha.... Lẽ ra phải nhân cơ hội này quất 1 trận cho hoành tráng mới đă chứ...
