Nhà sản xuất Lysol, một sản phẩm xịt và làm sạch chất tẩy trùng, đă đưa ra một cảnh báo rằng sản phẩm của họ không thể được dùng bên trong cơ thể con người, sau khi Tổng thống Donald Trump đề nghị mọi người nên tiêm “thuốc tẩy trùng” để loại bỏ coronavirus trong một phút. “


Phát ngôn nhân của Reckitt Benckiser, Hoa Kỳ cho biết: “Là một nhà lănh đạo toàn cầu về các sản phẩm y tế và vệ sinh, chúng tôi phải nói rơ ràng rằng trong mọi trường hợp, các sản phẩm khử trùng của chúng tôi không thể đưa vào cơ thể người (thông qua tiêm, uống hoặc bất kỳ con đường nào khác)”.

“Tất cả các sản phẩm khử trùng và vệ sinh của chúng tôi chỉ nên được sử dụng như dự định và phù hợp với hướng dẫn sử dụng. Vui ḷng đọc nhăn và thông tin an toàn”, tuyên bố tiếp tục và công ty tin rằng họ có “trách nhiệm trong việc cung cấp cho người tiêu dùng với quyền truy cập vào thông tin chính xác, cập nhật theo lời khuyên của các chuyên gia y tế công cộng hàng đầu. “

Tiến sĩ Vin Gupta, chuyên gia chính sách y tế toàn cầu và là người đóng góp cho NBC News và MSNBC cho biết: “Khái niệm tiêm hoặc ăn bất kỳ loại sản phẩm làm sạch nào vào cơ thể là vô trách nhiệm và nguy hiểm”.

“Đó là một phương pháp phổ biến mà mọi người sử dụng khi họ muốn tự sát”, Gupta nói thêm.
