Thông tin thêm về nhóm người Việt vượt biển sang Anh được cảnh sát Bỉ cứu

Trong ngày 19/5, một loạt tờ báo tại Bỉ và Pháp đưa tin cho biết, sáng ngày 19/5 cảnh sát Bỉ đã cứu được 49 người tị nạn đang tìm cách vượt biển sang Anh bằng thuyền cao su. Phần lớn trong số này được cho là người Việt.

Trao đổi với phóng viên VOV sáng nay (20/5), đại diện Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Bỉ cho biết hiện Đại sứ quán đang liên hệ chặt chẽ với nhà chức trách Bỉ để nắm bắt thông tin về số người được giải cứu.

Thông tin ban đầu cho thấy, do thời tiết giá lạnh trên biển nên vào thời điểm giải cứu, một số người rơi vào tình trạng hạ thân nhiệt nhưng đã nhanh chóng được trợ giúp y tế và hiện tình trạng sức khỏe đều ổn định. Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Bỉ sẽ kiểm tra kỹ thông tin quốc tịch theo giấy tờ của những người được giải cứu và sẽ thực hiện việc bảo hộ công dân theo đúng thủ tục. Trước đây, đã có nhiều trường hợp người tị nạn hủy mọi giấy tờ tùy thân khi vượt biển sang Anh nên việc xác định quốc tịch theo đúng quy định pháp lý gặp nhiều khó khăn.

Hiện 49 người này đang được cảnh sát Bỉ tạm giữ tại Neuwport, gần thành phố cảng Oostende của Bỉ, cách biên giới Pháp khoảng 60km.

Trong thông cáo chính thức, Viện kiểm sát Bruges (Bỉ) nhận định, nhiều khả năng điểm xuất phát ban đầu của nhóm người này là từ thành phố Grande-Synthe của Pháp, nằm sát biên giới Bỉ và là một trong những nơi có các trại tị nạn lớn của những người di cư muốn vượt biên trái phép sang Anh.

Đại diện lãnh sự Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Pháp cũng thông tin thêm, trong thời gian qua, số lượng người Việt tìm cách vượt biển sang Anh và bị cảnh sát Pháp bắt giữ lại là tương đối lớn.

Gần nhất, hôm 1/4/2021, cảnh sát Pháp đã tiến hành 6 đợt tuần tra, cứu được 122 người di cư trái phép dùng thuyền vượt biển Manche vào Anh, trong đó có 22 người Việt Nam. Những người này hiện vẫn đang bị cảnh sát Pháp giam giữ, tuy nhiên có một phụ nữ 28 tuổi quê Nghệ An đang mang thai nên đã được cảnh sát thả ra.


Hôm 6/5 vừa qua, cảnh sát Pháp cũng tiếp tục truy quét các trại tị nạn trái phép tại nhiều nơi, trong đó có trại tị nạn hơn 100 người tại Grande-Synthe. Nhiều khả năng sau vụ truy quét này, số người tị nạn trên, trong đó có nhiều người Việt, đã bỏ trốn sang Bỉ và tìm đường vượt biển sang Anh từ đất Bỉ.

Nhiều năm qua, nhiều địa phương tại Pháp (Calais, Dunkerque) hay Bỉ (Zeebrugge) luôn là điểm nóng về tị nạn, do đây là điểm tập kết để vượt biên sang Anh. Tuy nhiên, sau sự kiện Brexit, chính quyền Anh siết chặt việc kiểm soát biên giới, khiến việc vượt biên sang Anh qua đường hầm eo biển Manche ngày càng khó khăn.

Điều này khiến nhiều nhóm tị nạn, trong đó đa số là từ Trung Đông (Iran, Iraq) và Bắc Phi, bất chấp nguy hiểm vượt biên bằng đường biển trên các phương tiện thô sơ như thuyền cao su, thuyền thúng, khiến hàng trăm người thiệt mạng trong các năm 2019- 2020./.

In the past, there have been many cases of refugees destroying all identification documents when crossing the sea to the UK, making it difficult to determine nationality in accordance with legal regulations.

These 49 people are currently being held by Belgian police in Neuwport, near the Belgian port city of Oostende, about 60km from the French border.

In an official statement, the Procuratorate of Bruges (Belgium) said that it is likely that the initial starting point of this group was from the French city of Grande-Synthe, which is close to the Belgian border and is one of the places where large refugee camps of migrants who want to cross the border illegally to Britain.

The consular representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in France also added that, in recent years, the number of Vietnamese trying to cross the sea to Britain and being arrested by the French police is relatively large.

Most recently, on April 1, 2021, French police conducted 6 patrols, saving 122 illegal migrants using boats to cross the English Channel into the UK, including 22 Vietnamese. These people are still being detained by the French police, but a 28-year-old woman from Nghe An is pregnant and has been released by the police.


On May 6, French police also continued to search for illegal refugee camps in many places, including a refugee camp of more than 100 people in Grande-Synthe. It is likely that after this raid, the above refugees, including many Vietnamese, fled to Belgium and found their way across the sea to England from Belgium.

For many years, many localities in France (Calais, Dunkerque) or Belgium (Zeebrugge) have always been hot spots for refugees, because this is a gathering point to cross the border to the UK.
