Trong khi vận động bầu cử tại sân bay Orlando Sanford International Airport hôm Thứ Hai, TT Donald Trump giành phần lớn bài nói chuyện mời gọi cử tri Puerto Rico bầu cho ông, nhưng nhưng như thế là gian lận v́ ông quên rằng cư dân Puerto Rico không có quyền bầu phiếu, v́ Puerto Rico chưa phải là tiểu bang Mỹ.


Nhiều nhà hoạt động Cộng Ḥa đă từng đề nghị biến Puerto Rico thành tiểu bang mới cho Hoa Kỳ, nhưng cấp lănh đạo Cộng Ḥa chống lại ư kiến đó, v́ tiên đoán Dân Chủ sẽ chiếm đại đa số ghế Dân biểu ở Puerto Rico nếu cư dân có quyền bầu phiếu.

Trump cũng từng chỉ trích Puerto Rico về đối phó thiên tai bất hợp lư và chậm trễ. Trong một lần trả lời phỏng vấn, Trump nói rằng ông đă yêu cầu các viên chức nội các của ông xem xét về khả năng đổi vùng đảo Puerto Rico đầy những "dơ bẩn và nghèo khó" để lấy Greenland của Đan Mạch (once even asked his officials to look into whether he could trade the “dirty” and “poor” island to Denmark in exchange for Greenland).

Donald Trump has demanded Puerto Ricans vote for him, despite the island’s residents not being able to cast a ballot in the presidential election.

Mr Trump courted Puerto Rican voters during part of his Make America Great Again rally in Florida on Monday, his first since catching Covid-19.

“I’m not gonna say the best, but I’m just about the best thing that ever happened to Puerto Rico. You better vote for me, Puerto Rico,” boasted the president.

None of the island’s 3.2 million US citizens has a vote in a presidential election, nor do those in the four other US territories of American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and the US Virgin Islands.

ha ha...làm chính trị th́ mặt tonton rất dầy...làm mặt mỏng đi chơi gái cũng bị nắm đầu...vậy th́ mặt dầy mặt mỏng cũng không khá..thôi th́ giử cái mặt quỷ đi cũng vừa rồi.!
