Một thẩm phán liên bang hôm Thứ Hai đă một phần chấp nhận xét đơn kiện tố cáo doanh nhân Felix Sater, người liên hệ Mafia Nga, về tội rửa tiền nhiều triệu đôla trộm từ ngân hàng BTA Bank của quốc gia Kazakhstan xuyên qua cac tài sản địa ốc của Trump Organization.

Thẩm phán Alison Nathan viết tóm gọn ư kiến dài 25 trang về đơn kiện 5 điểm nhưng chỉ chấp nhận 3 điểm để xét xử, trong đó Almaty (thành phố lớn nhất của Kazakhstan) và một ngân hàng Kazakhstani t́m cách hồi phục nhiều triệu đôla bị trộm từ quỹ của những người đă giúp những kẻ gian rử tiền. Chính Felix Sater là ông trùm rửa tiền hoạt động cùng phụ tá là Daniel Ridloff và nhiều cơ sơ kinh doanh khác mà họ kiểm soát đă xin ṭa bác đơn kiện, nhưng thẩm phán từ chối bác đơn kiện.

Matthew Schwartz, luật sư của thành phố Almaty, bày tỏ ḷng biết ơn về phán lệnh hôm nay. Đơn kiện tố cáo Sater giúp đỡ Ilyas Khrapunov (con trai thị trưởng Almaty) đă rửa tiền trộm được qua ít nhất 5 giao dịch tại Hoa Kỳ, trong đó có xuyên qua Trump Soho (của Donald Trump).

Đơn kiện viết rằng chính Sater không chỉ gặp Ilyas Khrapunov tại ṭa nhà Trump Tower để bàn về chuyện rửa tiền, mà cũng chính Sater đích thân sắp xếp cho gặp giữa Ilyas và Donald J. Trump để bàn về kế hoạch đầu tư. Theo đơn kiện, cũng có một đề nghị bơm tiền xuyên qua ṭa nhà Trump Tower Moscow (tính xây ở Nga), trước khi kế hoạch này dẹp bỏ v́ nhằm lúc vận động bầu cử 2016.

Đơn kiện không tố giác Trump có làm ǵ sai hay không.
