Sau tin đồn thua lỗ, Thương hiệu thời trang mang tên Ivanka Trump jaor đóng cửa. Tuy nhiên, ái nữ nhà Donald Trump nói rằng, cô tạm dừng việc kinh doanh để tập trung vào công việc chính trị.



Mới đây, thương hiệu thời trang mang tên Ivanka Trump đã tuyên bố chính thức đóng cửa. Con gái Tổng thống Mỹ cho biết cô không đủ sức gánh vác công việc kinh doanh thêm nữa.

"Sau 17 tháng làm việc ở Washington, tôi không biết khi nào mình có thể quay lại với công việc kinh doanh. Tôi biết trọng tâm tương lai sẽ tập trung vào những việc ở Washington, vì vậy tôi thấy quyết định này là công bằng đối với những đồng sự và đối tác của tôi", Ivanka Trump .

Trước khi tuyên bố đóng cửa, thương hiệu của con gái ông Trump đã sụt giảm đến 45% doanh thu so với cùng kỳ năm trước. Điều này làm dấy lên tin tức thương hiệu của cô đang thua lỗ nặng.

Tuy nhiên, Ivanka Trump đã phủ nhận nghi ngờ trên. Cô khẳng định đóng cửa thương hiệu vì muốn tập trung vào công việc trợ giúp ông Trump tại Nhà Trắng.

Ivanka Trump bắt đầu kinh doanh nữ trang từ năm 2007. Cô mở rộng sang các mặt giày dép, phụ kiện, nước hoa với thương hiệu riêng mang tên mình.

Thương hiệu của ái nữ tổng thống từng được định giá lên tới 100 triệu USD. Tuy nhiên, sau khi ông Donald Trump trở thành tổng thống nước Mỹ, tình hình kinh doanh của thương hiệu bắt đầu gặp nhiều khó khăn.

Nhiều công ty thương mại lớn tại Mỹ đã ngừng kinh doanh các mặt hàng của thương hiệu từ năm 2017, các trang web bán hàng trực tuyến cũng sụt giảm doanh thu mạnh. Thương hiệu của con gái ông Trump nhiều lần đối mặt với tin đồn thua lỗ và đứng trên bờ vực phá sản.



Ivanka Trump đã từ bỏ công việc kinh doanh để tập trung vào vai trò Cố vấn cao cấp tại Nhà Trắng.

Vào tháng 2 vừa qua, Ivanka Trump thậm chí phải chịu sự điều tra của FBI cho những thương vụ tại nước ngoài, trong đó có hoạt động của hãng thời trang mang tên cô.

Về phía Ivanka Trump, sau khi ông Donald Trump đắc cử tổng thống vào tháng 1/2017, cô đã chuyển về Washington và đảm nhận vai trò cố vấn cao cấp tại Nhà Trắng. Bước chân vào chính trường, cô gần như bỏ bê công việc kinh doanh khá phát đạt trước đó.

Có lần gặp mấy chú nhỏ qua học, ở lại làm việc cho Google, IBM... Tôi bảo, quê hương là nơi ta chọn định cư kiếm tiền. Mấy chú im lặng không nói gì. Tôi thì cũng chỉ nói như thế thôi, vì cũng chả cần nói nhiềuhơn.
