Trong buổi tiếp Chủ tịch Hội đồng tham mưu trưởng liên quân Mỹ Martin Dempsey ngày hôm qua 22/4, tướng Pḥng Phong Huy, Tổng tham mưu trưởng quân đội Trung Quốc cho biết Bắc Kinh sẽ làm việc với Washington và các bên liên quan để giải quyết vấn đề hạt nhân Bắc Triều Tiên.

Tướng Dempsey đă yêu cầu Trung Quốc thuyết phục Bắc Triều Tiên dừng hành động khiêu khích.

Hai bên c̣n nhất trí sẽ tiến hành một cuộc diễn tập hỗ trợ nhân đạo và chống vi phạm bản quyền trong năm nay.

Pḥng Phong Huy không quên cảnh báo Mỹ không nên can thiệp vào tranh chấp lănh thổ giữa Trung Quốc và các nước láng giềng, "nhắc nhở Washington nên tôn trọng lợi ích cốt lơi của nhau".

Đáp lại, tướng Dempsey cho biết, Mỹ có nghĩa vụ thực hiện hiệp ước với các đồng minh của ḿnh.

Trong khuôn khổ buổi tiếp, ông Huy cũng cho biết quân đội Mỹ và Trung Quốc cần "quản lư chặt chẽ nhân viên của ḿnh, tránh việc tấn công lẫn nhau trên Internet". Tổng tham mưu trưởng Trung Quốc nhận định, trong bối cảnh hiện nay một khi an ninh mạng toàn cầu mà mất kiểm soát th́ hậu quả của nó cũng không kém vũ khí hạt nhân.
