(NBC News) – Các Uỷ ban Hạ viện đang điều tra luận tội vào hôm thứ Sáu công khai biên bản lấy lời khai các nhân chứng, trong đó có ghi lại những giây phút dân biểu Matt Gaetz (Cộng ḥa – Florida) ào vào họp kín, làm gián đoạn phiên điều trần.

Gaetz và hơn 30 nhà lập pháp Cộng hoà đă ào vào pḥng họp SCIF giữa lúc phiên điều trần của cựu cố vấn về vấn đề Nga Fiona Hill đang diễn ra. Sự việc diễn ra được viên chức Uỷ ban T́nh báo Hạ viện miêu tả là “sự vi phạm an ninh lớn,” với một số Dân biểu Cộng hoà đem điện thoại di động vào pḥng họp.

Trong biên bản, Chủ tịch Uỷ ban T́nh báo Hạ viện Adam Schiff (Dân chủ – California) nói: “Ông Gaetz, ông không được phép vào pḥng họp, xin vui ḷng đi ra!” Có lúc, Schiff bảo Dân biểu Cộng hoà “nên biến khỏi” SCIF.

Dân biểu Jim Jordan (Cộng hoà – Ohio) – Phó Chủ tịch Uỷ Ban Giám sát Hạ viện, và là một trong những đồng minh quan trọng của ông Trump trong Quốc hội – lên tiếng bênh vực Gaetz. Jordan bảo Schiff, Gaetz “sẽ ở lại và lắng nghe điều trần.”

Gaetz nhấn mạnh, ông ta có “quyền” ở đó, và thách thức liệu ông Schiff có thể đưa ra quy định nào cấm ông ta vào pḥng SCIF không. Schiff đáp, “Ông không phải là uỷ viên trong uỷ ban này. Đây là phiên điều trần kín.” Schiff sau đó nói thêm, ông đang “dùng những quy định của Hạ viện và quy định về lấy lời khai. Ông không được phép có mặt ở đây.”

Gaetz thách thức Schiff nói cụ thể quy định nào, và Chủ tịch Uỷ ban T́nh báo Hạ viện đáp: “Ông Gaetz, tại sao ông không đem tṛ lố lăng của của ḿnh ra ngoài. Đây không phải là cách cư xử của chúng tôi trong uỷ ban này.”

“Tôi chứng kiến bản thân ông cư xử như thế nào trong uỷ ban này,” Gaetz trả lời. “Tôi muốn ở đây để xem.”

Schiff quay sang tuyên bố, “Chúng ta sẽ chờ cho đến khi ông Gaetz rời đi rồi bắt đầu.”

Có vẻ như phiên điều trần tiếp tục như dự tính không lâu sau khi căng thẳng này.

Quy định của Hạ viện chỉ cho phép các uỷ viên tham dự điều trần nếu họ có chân trong uỷ ban tổ chức lấy lời khai. Trong trường hợp này, điều tra luận tội gồm có Uỷ ban T́nh báo, Uỷ ban Đối ngoại và Uỷ ban Giám sát. Gaetz nằm trong Uỷ ban Tư pháp.
