Hillary Clinton đă trả lời tweet của Tổng thống Trump hôm thứ Ba, sau khi Trump kêu gọi Bà tái tranh cử tổng thống, nhưng cho rằng bà trước hết cần giải thích những bê bối của ḿnh.

“Đừng xúi giục tôi. Hăy làm việc ông đi,” Hillary Clinton viết trong một tweet.

Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump viết trên Twitter hôm nay, “Tôi nghĩ rằng Hillary Clinton ‘Lừa đảo’ nên tham gia cuộc đua để cố gắng giành lại vị thế từ Elizabeth Warren ‘Cực tả’, nhưng với một điều kiện. ‘Kẻ lừa đảo’ phải giải thích về tất cả tội ác và hành vi sai trái nghiêm trọng của ḿnh, bao gồm lư do và cách thức bà ta xóa 33.000 email sau khi nhận được trát”

Bà Clinton đă nhiều lần nói rằng bà sẽ không tham gia cuộc bầu cử năm 2020, khi nói với tờ New York’s News vào tháng 3

Gần đây, bà Clinton đă lên tiếng chống lại Trump sau khi Hạ viện đưa ra cuộc điều tra luận tội chính thức trong bối cảnh khiếu nại tố cáo ông kêu gọi sự giúp đỡ của nước ngoài trong cuộc điều tra cựu Phó Tổng thống Joe Biden, một ứng cử viên hàng đầu của đảng Dân chủ.

Bà Clinton là đối thủ trực tiếp của Trump trong cuộc chạy đua vào Ṭa Bạch Ốc năm 2016. Bà thất bại trước Tổng thống Mỹ do thua số phiếu đại cử tri, dù giành được đa số phiếu phổ thông.
