WASHINGTON (AP) – Tổng thống Donald Trump cho rằng, việc luận tội của Đảng Dân chủ tại Hạ viện là nguyên nhần góp phần vào quyết định từ chối thông báo của ông cho các nhà lănh đạo quốc hội trước cuộc đột kích giết chết thủ lĩnh IS Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi hôm thứ Bảy

Trump nói với các phóng viên hôm thứ Hai rằng ông không thông báo cho nhóm “Gang of Eight” bởi v́ “Adam Schiff là người làm “lộ thông tín bí mật” lớn nhất ở Washington”.

“Gang of Eight” bao gồm: Adam Schiff (D-CA-28), Devin Nunes (R-CA-22), Richard Burr (R-NC), Mark Warner (D-VA), Nancy Pelosi (D-CA-12), Kevin McCarthy (R-CA-23), Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Chuck Schumer (D-NY)

Adam Schiff , đảng Dân chủ chủ tịch ủy ban t́nh báo Hạ viện, đang đóng vai tṛ trung tâm trong cuộc điều tra luận tội.
