(Washington Examiner) – Tổng thống Donald Trump vào thứ 5 tố cáo cựu Phó Tổng thống Joe Biden “làm tổn thương Kinh thánh,” “làm tổn thương Đức Chúa” và “chống lại Đức Chúa.”

“Ông ta theo nghị sự cánh tả cấp tiến,” ông Trump tuyên bố tại một sự kiện diễn ra ở Ohio. “Tước đi súng của quư vị, tàn phá Tu Chính Án thứ Hai của quư vị, không có tôn giáo, không có ǵ sất. Làm tổn thương Kinh Thánh. Làm tổn thương Đức Chúa. Ông ta chống lại Đức Chúa. Ông ta chống lại súng ống. Ông ta chống lại năng lượng, loại năng lượng của chúng ta.”

Ông Trump đưa ra những ư kiến trên khi nói chuyện trước công nhân tại nhà máy Whirlpool gần Cleveland. Tổng thống nói thêm, những quan điểm của Biden chống lại “súng, xăng dầu, tôn giáo và Kinh thánh” khiến ông ta không tránh được thất bại ở Ohio và Texas, những nơi được suy đoán sẽ đóng vai tṛ chính yếu trong bầu cử 2020.


Phát ngôn nhân chiến dịch tranh cử của cựu Phó Tổng thống, ông Andrew Bates ngay lập tức phản pháo bằng tuyên bố, đức tin tôn giáo của Biden “là cốt lơi con người ông,” và Trump vẫn thường xuyên lợi dụng tôn giáo.

Bates chỉ trích ông Trump đă giải tán đám đông biểu t́nh ông ḥa trước Ṭa Bạch Ốc bằng hơi cay và đạn cao su để có thể chụp h́nh với cuốn Kinh thánh trước nhà thờ St. John’s Episcopal, cũng như sử dụng tấm h́nh Biden cầu nguyện tại nhà thờ African Methodist Episcopal ở Delaware vào ngày 1 tháng 6 sau cái chết của George Floyd trong một quảng cáo tấn công cựu Phó Tổng thống.

“Donald Trump là tổng thống duy nhất dùng hơi cay để giải tán những người biểu t́nh Mỹ ôn ḥa, và ném linh mục ra khỏi nhà thờ chỉ để ông ta có thể xúc phạm tôn giáo, và một cuốn Kinh thánh – phục vụ cho cách nh́n cay độc của ông ta khi t́m cách chia rẽ quốc gia vào lúc khủng hoảng và đau đớn,” ông Bates chỉ trích.

Biden từng lên tiếng giễu cợt Trump cầm cuốn Kinh thánh ngược đứng trước nhà thờ để chụp h́nh, ông ước ông Trump mở cuốn Kinh thánh ra. “Ông ta có thể học được một số điều,” Biden nói.

Ban vận động tranh cử của ông Trump trong những tuần gần đây gia tăng tấn công vào thái độ của Biden với tôn giáo, đặc biệt chỉ trích quan điểm của cựu Phó Tổng thống đối với Hyde Amendment và phán quyết của Tối cao Pháp viện về vụ Little Sisters of the Poor Saints Peter and Paul Home chống lại tiểu bang Pennsylvania.

Hyde Amendment cấm chính phủ liên bang cấp ngân quỹ cho phá thai. Tối cao Pháp viện phán quyết, Little Sisters – giáo đoàn nữ tu Công giáo – không phải tuân theo lệnh bắt buộc tránh thai thời Obama.

Joe Biden lên tiếng chống lại cả hai.

Phó Tổng thống Mike Pence vào thứ Tư chỉ trích Biden trong khi tự nhận tiềm tin tôn giáo lại không hậu thuẫn Hyde Amendment hay Little Sisters. Pence so sánh hồ sơ của Biden với hồ sơ của ông Trump, người lên tiếng bênh vực cả hai. Theo đương kim Phó Tổng thống, bầu cử 2020 là lựa chọn đạo đức về liệu “Nước Mỹ có c̣n là nước Mỹ” hay không.

Là người theo Công giáo La Mă, Joe Biden từ lâu công khai về vai tṛ đức tin trong đời sống riêng, đặc biệt trong suốt những giai đoạn thảm kịch. Cựu Phó Tổng thống mất người vợ đầu và con gái trong một tai nạn xe hơi, và sau đó, con trai ông, Beau Biden bị ung thư chết.

Cựu Phó Tổng thống vẫn thường đeo tràng hạt của con trai quá cố trên cổ tay, ông công khai nói về vai tṛ đức tin tôn giáo đă giúp ông vượt qua đau khổ.

Kinh Thánh viết bởi các tông đồ ngày xưa hay sách thánh của dump viết ... càng ngày nó càng ḷi cái ngu hết thuốc chữa .

À ra thế...tôi cũng đă biết là biden theo đạo thiên chúa rất mộ đạo có ḷng tin...c̣n trump th́ không theo đạo ǵ hết có nghiă là đạo dụ.
